Yes, it’s part of the due diligence process. Usually the bank will come back with an assessment that is much lower than what the property owner is expecting.
In Trumps case the bank literally testified that they used a 50% factor to value his property, meaning that when they ran their numbers they assumed it was worth half so as to be extra conservative.
It’s insane that the courts have gone out of their way to twist reality so as to invent a crime in this case.
I want to know where will this money go? Will it be used to pay off bribes to those who participated in this farce? I know he will never truly pay it out because they will lose in the appeal, even if it has to go to the SC. I do hope that all of the SC justices are well protected from the Left and the Deep State because they would love nothing more than the ability to replace the conservative justices with far left leaning puppets.

I haven't seen anyone answer the question if overinflating assets is illegal? Is that an actual crime on the books in the state of NY? People gloss past it, but is it even a real law?
