The liberal “elite” worship Baal. Baal demands child sacrifices. That is why they push/defend abortion with every fiber of their being. They push to expand it to birth and beyond. They push the clot shots on 6 months old children.
And what do many worship now? A BULL market

Baal was also their equivalent of a god of material prosperity and success. Seems like that would fit perfectly in today's world. What's the most often cited reason for having an abortion?

Like Rush said, anytime you want to get to the heart of any issue, follow the money trail. This doesn't get talked about enough. Organ harvesting. Also stem cell research from aborted fetuses. And even the direct profits from abortions. Add to it all the federal grant money Planned Parenthood gets, something like $500 mil/year.
How about the "bull" market Wall Street mentions when its good times. There's a statue of a bull on Wall Street.

The funny part is God calling them "stiff necked people" and asking Moses to go away so he can just sit there and hate them for a little bit before he destroys them.
The funny part is God calling US stiff necked people.
And we are.
If it were baal, it would not be gold, maybe bronze?
They were fresh off the Exodus with a bunch of Egyptian gold which is why I assume they went that way with it
But the issue for me is that then they couldn't worship baal. Becuase baal worship required a specific kind of child sacrifice where they would place the child on baals hands. Baal would be heated so that the kid would be fried or boiled to death.
The Bible literally says do not sacrifice your seed to Molech.
Why would god mention it if it hadn't been going on.

Thats Moloch. Baal worship didn't involve that type of sacrifice.
I'm inclined to think this was Baal esp after having studied the Ugaritic mythology they would have encountered in Canaan and before. Baal was just the Bullgod, also known as the rider on the storm or he who rides the clouds.
There are specific passages in the Ugaritic tablets that decry child sacrifice even. Not saying Baal is good just that it's different but similar deities
Jonathan Cahn goes pretty deeply into the three primary foreign deities in “Return of the Gods.”
Oh thanks I must have been mistaken
No problem it's confusing Baal is god of storms and fertility Moloch god of fire and sacrifice
Makes some sense that they’d deludedly pray to him after the sea parted then.
Old habits and old dogs.
And the Bull was as much a symbol of might everywhere. Egypt had the Apis bull and Canaan had Baal who in one myth mates with a bull and produced offspring
Perhaps a wanna be like the rest of the world similar but different "Christianized" version of baal that was more Jesusy like a superb owl commercial?
It’s just a thought. I don’t know if we can truly validate this in either direction.
Seems reasonable given what we are seeing, though.
Worth guarding against, either way.
very true
think Zeus turned himself into a bull to rape someone
Europa; abducted by Zeus in the form of a white bull, then raped, resulting in the birth of Minos.

If you feel like searching the bible itself it is spelled "molech"
The molech references happen directly after the folks make the golden idol, and moses and Aaron sacrifice some goats to appease god, aaron looses his two sons because they played with the tabernacle, and god tells them to eat the meat sacrifice, after which they both start seeing god much clearer (probably tripping), and they are downloaded like a billion rules, and even tough sacrificing to molech isn't mentioned before that moment, god makes it a point to create rules about not sacrificing seed to molech, or to sacrifice offerings in the wilderness. Basically god said if you're gonna sacrifice it has to be sacrificed to the church.
This is after they had had already built the idol the first time and basically gods answer was "yo y'all got So much gold etc you should make a tabernacle out of the idol"

Ouch. You owe me for that.
It's good I bought stock in an eye bleach company.
Wouldn’t that make this post “racketeering”? ;-)
Unless you’re offering a donation!
I’m gonna need a lot
All the Bible pictures I’ve ever seen show them worshiping a literal calf made of gold. Maybe there is a conspiracy there. I hope someday we know the truth.
Same.
I had figured it was for the Egyptian goddess Hathor, who was probably the most worshipped of the Egyptian pantheon. That being said both are represented by cows and both counted fertility amount their domains, so I would not be surprised if ai learned that they were linked in some way.
I just figured they recreated the Apis Bull from Egypt. Since they had just left there not to long ago a d they would have been familiar with it.
