That’s fairly standard fast food prices for most fast restaurants near me these days. Between 20-25 for a meal. You can sometimes get it down to 15-20$ by mixing and matching Ala carte
I gave up fast food. Once in awhile I get pizza. I been cooking and trying to broaden my menu of things to cook. There has been a taco Tuesday every week. I have evolved a green chile stew with beef that is pretty damn good. Also, I haven't done it yet, but you might look to your local ranchers. If you use a lot of meat, you can buy ala carte, 1/4, 1/2 or full cow. Prices are up a little right now though. You can possibly choose all grain fed for cheaper, or all grass fed. Or grass fed and grain finished perhaps.
Small portion of fries? When we get Five Guys' for a treat after a shopping spree in the big city, there's 3 of us who share a order of fries, where they overfill a cup that spills into the paper bag. We eat til we're stuffed, then still have half of the fries left to bring home. The smallest burger there is larger than the biggest burgers at McDonalds and such, so apples to oranges in my opinion.
Business is getting hit hard with cost of materials, equipment, labor, and crime. They either have to reduce staff, reduce the quality of product, or raise prices.
The real criminal are those who are stifling and destroying our economy (and nation), not small business.
And now all the restaurant want a minimum 22% tip and a three 3% charge for credit cards. Restaurants will become what they are in Germany, only tourist will eat at these crappy places.
Peanut oil fries are worth it imho. I ordered a burger with lettuce wrap instead of bun last time I went there (not on menu, but they provide when asked), and really enjoyed.
Learn to cook.
They're still reading the stove manual, page 1, How to turn stove on. lol
Joe turned off the gas.
This restaurant sucks. I can make better burgers.
I had it once or twice. Wasnt impressed.

If anyplace is too expensive just dont go! Problem solved.......................
It will be 3 guys then.
FYI - In-N-Out Double Double combo is still less than $10.
Yea, but you only get 3 guys in it. Just kidding
Biden’s war on beef driving prices up. What do people expect? Five Guy’s are in business to make a profit. Hard to do these days.
The kids meal at 5 guys is much cheaper and is actually the size of a regular burger in my world. That, and don't tip for fast food. Ridiculous

$12.60 for a baconator and large fry at wendys
We only sight-see fast food outfits around here; you know, take a fleeting look while passing on by.
Skip the fries and drink
