Right? I can't imagine being even just a little stoned on a flight. My anxiety would max out. I tend to have a vivid imagination and enhanced as it were, one little bump or some random odd noise would send me over the edge.

I've flown Spirit airlines several times and never had an issue, but last year my husband was on an absolute nightmare of a flight. Stupid unruly passengers, passengers wearing pajamas, flight delays, terrible customer service etc.,. He'll never use Spirit again, and I've stopped flying altogether for various reasons.

I've flown Spirit a few times. Never had an issue and thought it was a good value. Plenty of complaints about the airports involved - especially FLL.

We did our research and found carryon bags that held all our clothes for a week and fit under the seat so no bag fees. Picked the exit aisles for more leg room and that's where the flight attendants sit and they're always interesting to chat with.

Have even flown them internationally without a problem.

Not sure I'd do a long cross-country trip or Europe with them, but they're fine for a couple-hour flight.
