I homestead and care for a disabled person in my home, hands on care, for that I get paid a stipend and rent. I have never worked in business or education, my pastimes are linked to homesteading. Simple work that you have to have a calling for to accomplish well. I will never be wealthy but there is nothing I could buy to replace what I already have, a plot of land, gardens, a healthy strong son, God's word and guidance. AI will not make my dahlias bloom or lay the eggs for my breakfast.

I can think of a dozen tasks at my job that can be easily automated away. AI will probably steal it before the offshore workers become competent enough to steal it and then we're both SOL.

No, but the problem is when they combine quantumcomputing with AI. The quantumworld is the spiritworld. So above, so below or micro and macrokosmos as the ancients called it. As things stand, this could be the image of the beast. That's why the roll out of >5G for the mark.
What you figure would be their vehicle for pushing it in that situation?
The mark of the beast will result in a kind of Borg (Startrek) hyvemind that will take away the human conscience and possibly provide a kind of immortality. In the end times, people who have adopted the mark will seek death but not find it. In addition, they do not come for the great judgment but are immediately thrown into hell together with the beast and the false prophet. Everything indicates that they have committed an unforgivable sin and are no longer human just like the hybrids of the fallen angels. Maybe the mark is a receiver in the form of a quantum microchip or quantum micro processor which is connected as an neurolink with the image of the beast in the 3rd temple of Jerusalem?

AI only works on those who are mindless. Real life requires critical thinking. Nonetheless at my job they are using ai and all it does at the moment is cause more headache than it needs to.
Everyone who is real has real things to do outside of work so we will do things earlier or push things out. Ai is a dictator and it won’t work in the USA - unless they make us all servants of dictatorship-oh yeah they are trying.
Anyone who thinks a machine can procrastinate better than me is crazy.

Actually, not to disagree, but that's 100% here. GPT helps me understand memes all the time, and some of the time it really shocks me how much nuance it understands.

AI isn't any different from any other advancing technology.
Every time something comes around that will put people out of work, most people act like it's the end of the world.
And yet the world continues to chug right on along even though electricity made household appliances like vacuum cleaners and washing machines cut down drastically on the amount of domestic help people needed.
Gasoline powered lawn mowers and hedge trimmers put many gardeners out of work, computers and editing software put typists and editors out of work.
Robots on assembly lines put most of Detroit out of business. Self serve gas pumps, self checkout at grocery stores have put cashiers out of jobs.
I'm sure back in the day there was a monk or two cursing the printing press for putting them out of business.
But OMG! AI is going to put everyone out of work and the entire economy will fall apart! 🙄
People I work with bring that up about us getting replaced by ai. I laugh and say the program is only as good as the person the wrote it. We are not in a place and time for self learning ai and if it was rolled out I don't forsee it being something all companies would want to pay the price tag for.
People will always be better. Yes you have human error, but there will be error with ai as well.
With all due respect, patriot, you are a few extremely significant years behind. This is absolutely 100% not true.
I probably am. I'm just thinking of all the programs that companies I have worked for rolled out and the companies I work with. I am not saying the tech doesn't exist which is why I mentioned when self learning ai is rolled out in mass not all will pay the price. They already won't pay the price for a decent software and a person to program the software to the work that is done.
Either way I don't forsee ai taking over humanity. We have more to give. Can it help us, yes. But over take us, naw.
I guess my main point is the fact that we are just not there yet. Maybe it becomes a reality but it is not a reality for our lifetime.
