I think you're thinking of fiberoptic bronchoscopy, which is not therapeutic and is only used to light up the area for doctors to see.
A Fiberoptic light like what data travels though, is a pin-point at the terminus, you'd have to snake that thing through your entire circulatory system kek. And only then it's very local, not to mention, I'm not sure if UV wavelengths propagate the same. Also, I don't want UV light, which destroys cells indiscriminately, inside my body.
Flu illness' like other corona virus' can be treated with ultraviolet light. It is experimental as yet. Just like ultraviolet filters can purify water. Same principle.
OOOOOH. So like dialysis, but pass the blood through UV light. I grew up in Wichita, and we always made fun of that place. A bunch of weird pyramid buildings off of K-96.
UV light is ultra-violet, so on the opposite end of the spectrum from red. But yeah, I read up and it's kind of like dialysis. Not 'intravenous light', but still very cool. Doesn't seem like anyone is actually doing it though.
Intravenous… light? How does that work?
Think fiberoptics. This is how you get the ultraviolet light into the lungs. It is a respiratory treatment.
This might not be precise but its close.

Seems like ATYU, the biotech company that was partnering, scrubbed every linked from that article from their website. To the wayback machine!

Yes, much like dialysis. You aren't actually injecting light, but that wasn't really what Trump even said or meant.
It's not a treatment I'd probably be happy doing, but..well.
Blood goes through a tube that has red light

I knew one place that gave it that’s why I know about it.
