Okay, so all they showed was two insect species. One produces a chemical that is used to make chocolate shiny. The other is used to produce a red color.
These products have literally been used for a hundred years, if not longer.
Wake me up when they start using other insect products.
When it comes to mass produced foods there is an allowable percentage of bugs to be found in the food as it is not cost effective to keep the percentage at 0.
Most commercially made mayo is made from soy oil, which is genetically modified, so you're right to skip it. Or, make your own with good quality ingredients.
I started reading labels and found that here in the US they are using "Bioengineered Modified Ingredients". A lot of processed food contains those ingredients. Cook from scratch.
They’re hiding a lot of it in QR code websites. I’ve just started assuming that a QR code with “scan for more information” means it has hidden bioengineered imgredients, because every coded item I’ve tested did. It wasn’t listed on the packaging once.
There is a new label of B in a circle that indicates that the company has signed its governorship over to ESG compliance, legally.

Look for E120 and E904, it's everywhere. One is for coloring, one is a protection layer made from scale insect shit. It's being used for many years -no, I don't support this shit-, but it's far from having insects in the food.
I believe Germans had been eating insects and worms for their meals from long time. I was in Munich back in 1999 working for Siemens and I had eaten a plate of worms meal - they looked like cooked maggots. It was alright. I was eating all kinds of stuff a that time, so thought why not try this too.I also ate some raw fish, later I didn't feel so good. I became a vegetarian few years later, then turned into raw vegan for 2-3 years and reversed my aging process. Now I am settled as happy vegetarian. I might be eating some small insects here and there unintentionally since I eat greens of my garden without washing, since they are organic.
We need this app here.

I’ve wondered on the “eat see bugks” bit if it’s not going to end up being disclosure.
Evil can be quite mundane, sometimes.

No doubt, and that’s fairly reasonable. I meant hidden behind labels like “Natural Flavors” and such.
The best way to avoid it is to only eat real food.
Yep. Trying very hard to do that now. Need to skip mayo and ketchup and salad dressing too.
I like it, but I think I have to make it now.
Thanks. I will look into that definitely.

Oh. I love mayo but don't know how to make it. Yeah, better learn.
NO! Not MAYO!!!
Skip Mayo? Nooo. You know it is super easy to make, yah? Oil and an egg. Blend with a stick blender. Tastes fantastic.
Now thank you. Damn. I was wondering.
You're welcome. Salad dressings are quick and easy too. Maybe 2 or 3 minutes to make and MUCH better tasting than commercial products.
You can do it!
Give me some idea please? I need to learn.
Cookbooks before 1970, Pinterest, Betty Crocker, Cook's Illustrated, Jaques Pepin, All Recipes. They will all have recipes.
LOL. Before 1970. Ok.
Buy direct from farmers who provide free-range and organic
Whole foods and organic when you can
About a year ago, I found insect ingredients listed on a product in a local (United States) health food store.
And I'd bet they're hiding a lot more than we're seeing, with deceptive language and perhaps outright omission.
I started reading labels and found that here in the US they are using "Bioengineered Modified Ingredients". A lot of processed food contains those ingredients. Cook from scratch.
Basically anything prepackaged (tv dinners, pizzas, box lunches)
Chips and bread are all really bad, too.

Good job watching!
I saw the pizza all contained it.
Time for Germans to revolt.
I am surprised they are not!

Don't shop at Aldi
I am sorry. It's actually everywhere. I saw them in Kroger too.

What's the difference between vegetarian and raw vegan?
Vegetarians eat eggs, dairy, honey and sometimes fish. Vegans don't.
Ewww, now the raw fish for me is okay but I ain't no eating worms or any crickets any time soon.
