Huge huge funding for universities, then still costs students ungodly amounts to attend. What's up with that?

Huge subsidies while they sit on billions of dollars endowments and charge massive tuitions for degrees that will never be able to pay back the debt incurred.
Why are taxpayers even having their tax money go to private colleges and universities. They get enough tuition and donations from alumni that we should not be funding them.
Control. The money always comes with strings attached.
The funding is for research. A federal agency has a request for proposals for a specific subject, universities compete for funding to do research.
Most of the research is not in our best interests. Does a corrupt government track the expenditures of allocated funds? Doubtful, if our government can not account for losses in their own agencies.
Yes they do track. Universities get audited. I don't know what you mean by "best interests" because there are all sorts of areas universities do research. It could be studying the mating behavior of sharks, researching new materials, medical research....mathematical research...thousands of different things.
Effective 1/20/25 (or sooner) these lines will be zeroed out.
WHY would the government fund these universities? BECAUSE they use these universities to INDOCTRINATE the next generation of leaders!
When conservatives ask me how I could possibly say that student loans shouldn’t be paid back I explain this exact thing.
It’s not that we just dont want to pay them back. It was a scam from the beginning.
You now got students raking up debt for classes they can no longer take because some of these schools just cancelled classes for the rest of the year.
The destruction of the Bill of Rights, effected by a traitorous congress, is far more concerning to me than kids in homeless camps on the quad.
Makes perfect sense when you realize that tax exempt foundations receive federal grants to push communist agendas, using your own tax 💰 to bury your way of life. They create wars, control the historical record and the education system.

I'm guessing a huge chunk of American tax-payers funding these colleges with their blood, sweat, and tears never got the opportunity to attend a college because they couldn't afford to. What a fucking travesty. Goes hand-in-hand with the student loan forgiveness slap-in-the-face.
