Ironically, while in high school at the ritzy, near-$40,000 a year San Diego Jewish Academy, Greenberg-Call was as staunch Israel advocate, and once reportedly served as president of her high school’s Israel advocacy club.
Do people read articles anymore? Or just post comments without thinking things through first?
Honestly I'm at the point where I immediately research a person's background including religion. And what I have discovered is that the vast majority of the time they are a member of God's chosen club.
2nd, what kind of a god chooses one of their children over others? This implies conditional love. A God of Good would harbour undonditional love.
Monotheism forces a choice in one deity. That deity is either good, neutral or evil. If you choose to seperate them into multiple deities, then it's not monotheism any more. If you choose anything but neutral, it isn't how the Universe actually works. There is a balance. If you choose Good, then all things happen for a reason beyond our understanding and beyond our control, and that God does not pick sides, does not pick favorites. That God has unconditional love.
People have the right to change their minds and change their sides when they realize their side is the wrong side or is doing something wrong. In this conflict there is no good or bad side in my opinion: they are both bad guys. They are both acting terribly
That is why I am for pulling all support for both sides, permanently and irrevokably. They want to put on big boy pants and self determine? Good! I support that.
It's funny that your sarcasm isn't being met with an honest response.
We have the (paraphrased because I'm tired and I don't really care to be perfectly accurate) phrase "liberal in my youth, conservative as I age" which comes about precisely because as we age we are no longer the same people as we were in school.
Sure, that definitely bears saying but it's also not the direct counter to your post that they thought it was.
Not only that, but when you're young, you don't have anything to lose... Then you start a family, throw money at a house and other things and shake your fists when you get the latest property tax bill ... THEN after you're in the game for a while, and life is kicking your ass do you actually have something to lose... and you want to keep as much if it as possible.
Young dumb and full of it, free for all sounds great. Age a bit, realize that YOU are the one paying for the free for all shindig, and something has to give. There's nothing magical about politics changing over time...call it wising/waking up.

I’ve achieved ‘amazing kreskin’ levels of predicting this same thing. Odd…;)

So "God's Chosen" is interesting.
First, are we not all children of God?

Which is being chosen?
You will know them by their fruits...
Pretty sure you missed the whole point in the use of God's chosen people.
If you are not of God the Father which requires belief in Christ. Then your father is the devil.
1John 2:23 and
John 8:44
Point being: No we are not ALL Gods chosen people, but ALL have the opportunity
Good theology!

Neither Hamas nor Israel is the right side.
You can’t trust a single thing being pushed by the IDF nor the UN.
"hamas" is just another mossad proxy

I thought the same thing: Daddy issues
