My husband cried too, just no one took video or pictures of it. But that was when we didn’t have cell phones or thought to bring a camera to the hospital. He was only home to see one (our youngest) born, and what a mess he was during the birth, lol. He couldn’t sit still, thank goodness my mom and grandmother was there. Mom was with me in the deliver room for all 3 of our babies. Husband was in the military so was away and couldn’t come home for the other 2 births. Oh come to think of it, my mom did bring a video camera to the birth of our youngest, but I think she only videoed the birth, our kids don’t exactly want to see the video, even the child that was being born, lol. I need to find that video and watch it, maybe make our child watch it also.

Edit to add, our “child” I was referring to is now 25 yrs old. No matter their age they are always our babies/children.

If you haven't been down this path but ever do, don't believe the bs about how knowing what sex your kid is, before your wife delivers it, helps you to prepare. Consider waiting to know until that very day. It's one if life's best surprises, and you don't get a whole lot of opportunities to enjoy it. It's the way nature intended it

That was beautiful

This video hits hard. Screwed up life choices, and I got a drug addicted alcoholic whore pregnant. She continued to use through the whole pregnancy and I refused to pay for that abortion. I hit my knees every day, praying my child would be healthy (and by His grace she was). Seeing my ex wasn't going to change, I took our daughter and got out. Raised her in a world without drugs and alcohol. She's turned out to be the most loving, caring wife or mother I know. She is fiercely loyal to her family...which wouldn't exist if I had let the ex kill her.

Those guys just jumped into life's fast lane. Ain't no getting back into the slow lanes from that moment forward. Can't fight with time, so roll down all the windows, let the wind in and breath it deeply. Best ride you will ever go on.
