Elon Musk Truth Bomb: The “right-wing” agenda today is just the centrist agenda of 20 years ago. The left has become an extinctionist movement.

I think this is true to a certain extent.
But I also think a large percentage of the Left has always been this way - they're just not hiding it any longer. And losing the MSM as a control mechanism hasn't hurt to expose them either.
A lot of them were open about it in the late 60s and saw how little the public was interested, so they burrowed into the institutions like ticks in the intervening years.
The Useful Idiots think they will be allowed to survive. But as usual they would be the second to go.
I believe orangetastic1 is correct -- the lefties have burrowed into the institutions. In the Sixties, they called it "changing the system from within," and they regarded it as some kind of noble goal.
But athough Musk is essentially accurate, it's been going on for a lot longer than a mere twenty years. Since the late Fifties, at least. I'm old enough to have watched it happen first-hand.
Paul Harvey's famous monologue from 1965 said it well: https://youtu.be/R3e8lRabvQI
And the communist goals for the U.S. , as read into the Congressional record, in 1963: https://cdn.subsplash.com/documents/W8FD27/_source/5b8c9068-5344-4a33-b77a-31d54f98a52e/document.pdf
He must have known what the pedoelites were already doing back then
Yes, it is also my impression that the center-left has moved to the left. My opinions have not really changed that much, but now I'm considered ultra right wing
Elon’s comments is in step with his previous twitter post on the Overton window’s slide the in Leftist politics.
For the most part that is generally the trend of Western, and in particular American Conservatism. It preserves nothing. It just exists to slow the clown car of “Progress”. The left moves further leftward. The center slides left. And the Conservatives adopt the previous position of the center. Every few decades since the French Revolution.
There’s still elements of the OG Right as presented when the term was originally coined. Which wasn’t anything like today’s modern right. But they are few and far between. As generally things like non-figurehead Monarchies aren’t particularly popular these days. By that meaning the Monarch has a job that isn’t completely ceremonial or a rubber stamp for stupid parliamentary ideas and they take part in direct rule of the nation they oversee.
The only real example in the West where that hasn’t been the case was the Principality of Liechtenstein which voted to rempower the Monarch as head of state with the ability to directly govern during a referendum in 2003. There’s still some checks on his power. But for the most part he rules.
And I’m rambling again
“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” ― Benjamin Franklin
Accept the RESPONSIBILITY or your SLAVERY. They chose Poorly.
"chose poorly" said in the voice of the old knight in the cave :)
I get the impression that most of you still don't understand the term we have it all! Everything we are watching is a movie! Geared for normies! Enjoy the show!
