The whole thing is essentially about infringing on 2A rights. I've been seeing several of those "gotcha" type interviews with MAGAs where someone will ask them their views on 2A rights and gun control and coach them along until they say the 2A says our rights shall not be infringed.
Then they'll ask them their opinion of the Hunter Biden verdict, and if the MAGA person supports it, they'll ask them why they want to infringe Hunter Biden's 2A rights.
I think liberals are going to use this as an opening to make even more gun control laws. Now they have all these conservatives showing so much approval of Hunter Biden's conviction as ammunition implying that conservatives approve of infringing our 2A rights.
And what do we get out of it? Hunter will most likely get a slap on the wrist and be out of jail in a few months (if he even goes. I expect probation or community service and a fine or something).
Liberals aren't going to not vote for Biden because of something his son did. They constantly repeat that Hunter isn't running for president, and his dad wasn't the one on trial.
