come join me in the cesspool that is Torn City. it's free, browser based and mobile friendly, easy on data, and doesn't take up much time to progress as its mostly passive.
there's an integrated forum where you can fight with lefties, and when you get tough enough you can just mug anyone you get in an argument with. there's also an ongoing political meme thread that is mostly stupid lefty memes and desperately needs some balance.
but there was recently a Trump Biden poll, and TRUMP WON LMAO. So aside from a few key based vocal players, the silent majority rule still applies.
it can be a little addicting, but the passive progress counteracts that, as you can log out and know your character is still going to work.
I really only play Monster Hunter Rise on switch online, or MH Generations Unlimited. I would be down for some retro SNES gaming on switch tho, since nintendo added online multiplayer if I remember correctly.
Our alliance is currently full, but I’m the leader and I’d be happy to make a backup list if any drop out. Not all in our alliance have a clue what our name means lol
If I had seen this post a decade ago Id be all over it. But, life's responsibilities have pushed gaming to the bottom of the list for me. I'm lucky if I get to game 2-3 hours per month. Used to play a wide variety of genres, mostly fighting games & roguelites with the occasional RPG or RTS in the mix.
Now kitchen table and LGS MTG I'm all about! It's my one wknd a month to unwind with friends, have a few brews, and hopefully add a few additional notches to my Kaalia & Tom Bombadil win rates!
I used to play Tom Clancy’s Division a few years ago on Xbox. It’s set in a post-apocalypse NYC brought about by a virus (imagine that). Division 2 is set in DC, and it’s great shooting bad guys with a torn down DC as a backdrop.
I unfortunately don't play much anymore. My friends play all the latest games, but I almost never buy whatever is new and hot. I remember getting Call of Duty 4 around release back in the day, but the only new releases I play these days are available on Xbox Game Pass, and that's only when I have an active subscription. I was quite good at Halo 5 for a period of time around 2015 and through 2021.
Anyway, I'm lucky if I can play for an hour after 9pm, and only if I can find something interesting.
I'm middle age and still play minecraft... not just for the kids, but on a public anarchy server as well as a couple private servers with some old friends - I used to develop and maintain a couple old bukkit plugins back like 1.1-1.2 era (Java can suck balls though). Still fire up Star Citizen every now and then to haul some cargo with my Freelancer Max. However, the separation of work and gaming I like and I'm going to stick to that here as well. There may be a couple frens on here I have gamed with in the past and are like minded, but I'm just going to keep that private. And, honestly, since waking up to the madness going on in DC, GAW and reading legal docs (why do I enjoy that?) has taken over much gaming time. NCSWIC!

I love Division 2. My favorite part of the game now is Descent!!!
Once human launched today, this is a pretty good idea. Let me know if things take off
