If we can’t trust the man who appointed the Supreme Court Justices who enabled overturning Roe v. Wade, who can we trust on this issue? I believe President Trump has a strategy that will lead to a precipitous drop in elective abortions and take this divisive issue away from the death cult called Democrats. Eventually, abortions will be nearly nonexistent.
If I was President Trump I would have another bullet point added to the platform:
-Our nominee, President Donald J. Trump, made it possible to strike down Roe v. Wade and send the issue of abortion back to the states where it belongs. He is committed to upholding the Constitution and, as the most effective Peo-Life President in history, he will continue to promote and enable a culture that values human life, especially the life of babies.
How many of you are sick of hearing about abortion being a God given right under the whitewash of reproductive freedom? It's all the left is running with.
I don't agree about rape or incest. Of what fault is it from the baby that it should be killed? I've heard a similar defense of elective abortion: "Oh, it would be so much better to abort the baby so that it doesn't grow up without a loving environment." Really? So the answer to orphans and bastards is to machine gun them in their cribs? After all, if being an orphan or a bastard is worse than death, what has pre- or post-partum have to do with it?
This is good thinking on his part. A lot of pundits say evangelicals didn't come out in 2020 like they did in 2016. This issue could lead to more of the same. Saying the republicans are removing pro-life from their party platform will alienate a LOT of pro-life religious people. It doesn't matter if it is even real or not - they will have heard it on Fox News or some other crap rag they read and they will believe it.
I however do hope he discussed it with Trump first...
As a first time NCGOP state delegate I saw what was a deliberate decision by the PTB to block a couple of resolutions. Apparently this has been an ongoing problem of our state GOP convention running out of time to vote on these resolutions and sometimes it’s done on purpose. In this case I was told by one of the authors of these resolutions that it was done purposely.
The first was a resolution for Medical Freedom (it went further than mandated masks and shutting down businesses and churches). Various aspects of this resolution was voted on by multiple districts and GOP county parties. So a group of individuals from these various counties combined all these concerns and submitted it for the state convention. It had the most votes of any resolution put forward on the program but it was placed last in the program and pushed aside. It actually went after Big Pharma and some of those who wrote it up said the state legislature didn’t want to vote on it.
The second resolution was a floor resolution called the abolition of abortion (if i remember the name correctly). It was never heard. Again according to one of the writers from my county there was flak from the PTB that they didn’t want to hear this either.
For those that don’t know resolutions are written by the grassroots of the political parties to ask their state legislators (or National in the case of the national Convention) to read and vote on these resolutions at the state and national level.
Everyone wants free stuff. Well there are lots of free stuff to prevent a pregnancy in the first place.
Then too everyone wants to kill the innocent baby but nobody wants to kill the guilty rapist.
I don't want Carson to satisfy both sides.
The other side are murderous, mentally ill, communists. Fk them
I want to see them as thoroughly UN-satisfied as possible. Do NOT negotiate with the commie, baby-killing Left on anything. Shut them out completely.
AMEN brother!

It’s the only issue for some Dems and why the Dems use that narrative over and over again to get them out to vote.
Currently they are saying Trump wants to yaw the Federal government to block all abortions. Which is a big lie
In fine print at the bottom it says it's the law in Texas but they outright lie and say nationwide.
You want to fuck around but don't want kids? That is why there is a birth control pill, and that is not the only contraception available.
You want to get knocked up and jut kill it? You should be locked away.
The only room for compromise is to prevent injury or death of the mother, or in the case of rape or incest.

Ben Carson is responding to this article and rightly so. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/pro-lifers-slam-rncs-worst-platform-ive-ever-seen-at-national-conservatism-conference/?utm_source=daily-usa-2024-07-13&utm_medium=email
Thank you for your report from the 'frontlines'. I suspected there was something like this going on.
