They remind me of the syphilis diseased brains of Nietzche, and the very flawed protagonist of Mann's Doctor Faustus. It is though the spirochetes of the disease are consuming their brains.

I will plant seeds when I places of personal stuff—like physical therapy. I use places like this to see how normal people are aware.
One thing I have come to see is likened to an alcoholic — they must first accept they have a problem. We all know this. It is a solid logical thing to consider.
Now shift this to abuse — lots of these people are really suffering from abuse. They were abused and also abused others these last 8 years. Until they accept they were abused they will continue to harden their hearts. It is amazing how they shutdown.
