The angle of the bloody photo makes it impossible to evaluate most of the traits, in my opinion.
The ear, though... that seems to be very definitive. Those two bumps plus the shape of the curvy thing whatever it's called.. I would have to place my chips on Crooks based on these photos.
The chin is a big giveaway in my opinion. Yearick has a blockier chin than crooks whose chin is more "pointed". Not to mention the modified earlobe, which Crooks lacks in any picture I have seen.
The chin of the dead shooter looks like Yearick to me, but who knows?
I want to know why the only pic we have of Crooks or supposedly him he looks to be 14. Where are recent pics of the dude

Looks to me like Crooks’ bat-wing ear marches really closely to dead shooter and is more conclusive than anything. Eyebrows too
A headshot could cause some distortion on the region making the other features less discernible.
Head shot could cause some distortion or contortion, but likely not on the nose, changing it from wide and round to narrow and pointed.
Yeah agree, I just think that bat-wing ear is a very odd trait. Not sure I have seen it before and seems to match Crooks - but who knows.
My initial gut reaction to those photos was ‘It’s Yearick’, but I have changed my mind at this point.

No, it's definitely Crooks all the way. Look past the facial hair and the chin matches Crooks. Ears, weird forehead bump, dirty blonde hair and nose is all Crooks.

NOTE: This is all speculation on my part and simply my own personal opinion.
I found some higher quality images of Yearick to use, and also the CORRECT image of who the media is saying Crooks was. However the only image available seems like he is very young and so it's not the best to compare, but it's all we have right now.
I still stand by what I said in my previous post, especially in regards to the face shape, nose shape, and ear gauges. HOWEVER, looking at the weird bumps on the right ear is really interesting since Crooks seems to have them and Yearick seemingly doesn't (though part of his ear lobe is hidden by his hair so it's hard to say for sure). Which is what makes this even weirder because the face looks SO MUCH like Yearick, yet the ear looks like Crooks? Very confusing.

I'll let others argue over earlobes, chins, etc...but Yearick makes way more sense as a shooter than Crooks. Yearick was a leftist activist for hire, heavily involved with BLM and Antifa, even was in Ukraine to fight. I seriously doubt all the money men behind this op would have trusted some dweeby kid like Crooks to have made the shot.

Likely, but I still can't get over the shape of the nose. It seems totally different from Crooks and looks way more like Yearick.

No, Yearick is way older than Crooks and was part of riots back in 2016.
I was already looking at the outer edge of the right ear in the first picture before I scrolled down to the second picture.
That outer edge is a match for Crooks. The human ear has a very distinctive/unique shape from one person to the next.
I agree, however I'm still hung up on how the face looks like Yearick yet the ear matches Crooks. Very strange.
