I wouldnt call them Amish light. There are different factions of Mennonite. Some are as strict as the Amish but then there are some sects that allow the use of modern conveniences.
In Mid Michigan, north of Lansing in the towns along US 27, it is a common sight to see horse drawn buggies. Doesnt really matter whether they are Mennonite or Amish.
One of my builders has a Mennonite/Amish framing crew. They travel nearly 90 minutes each way. They have one non Amish guy on the crew who drives them all to and from work every day. This guy starts the compressors and runs the saws and their skytrak. The rest of the crew wont use electric tools but they do use the air driven nail guns as long as the non Amish guy starts the compressor.
My crew interacts with them all the time. Nice guys. Ive never asked them to distinguish whether they are Mennonite or Amish.
Great picture Neverstoptrumping!
Amen, we are witnessing the unity God is bringing. What a great time to be alive and witnessing this. They have no power over our prayers.
Amish or Mennonite?
That’s Mennonite, or Amish light.

He’ll of some great framers, the Amish here in Kentucky are great people. I would love to live life more as they do.
No phones. So Amish and the guys no Pic matxhing suspenders.
I have a ton of Mennonites in my area
I have never seen Amish wear peacock blue with a slim skirt. Only white caps in my area. It might depend oh the community.
It does depend on the community. Generally the bishop and elders of each church determines their general rules.

Scroll down 2nd picture. Both white and black head cover both in blue. Keep scrolling and you will see different color dresses in the same photo.
Must be the communities. The Amish we see in their buggy and the summer market have darker dresses and aprons.

At least Amish women still wear dresses in America.

What is that woman in black doing with her arms?
Holding two two glasses of water and pushing her glasses back
Aren't they Mennonites?
Maybe?
Where are they? The Amish wear white caps or black bonnets out in public and kerchiefs only at home.
Their dress and the covering for their hair. Amish are big for Trump. I thought I saw an Amish man at the Butler PA rally.
Amish have been targeted in MI and the boarding states.
