The requirement is natural born and that requirement is quite plain. It does not matter whether a person is born on US soil. IF the parents were not citizens at the time of birth, that person is NOT a natural born citizen.

I could see White hats using this issue to overrun the Wong decision and solve anchor baby issue. was indeed wrong interpretation of 14th amendment. Incidentally Wong v. US decision was based on 14th amendment not article 2, so in theory SCOTUS could come up with 2 contrary definitions of ‘natural born’ one with respect to citizenship and other with respect to presidential eligibility.
The contrary definition was established by Minor vs Happersett in 1874. . .natural born citizen is born of two U.S. citizen parents.

First of all, it was written by a Lawyer that was Employed by an Insurance Company, and they wanted to get out of paying out lots of Money....
Second, it has been used twice as much to Protect Businesses, Companies, and Corporations, than it has been to help Blacks....

The ones that don't, own their own homes and the land around it. The restriction is that the land cannot be sold outside tribal membership so as to not dilute the overall reservation land holdings.
The really screwed up part is when the Feds decide to lease tribal got land to outsiders for grazing or mineral extraction (oil, nat gas, coal, etc) and the Feds shortchange the tribes on the money generated from the leases. All the while telling the tribes they can't handle the leasing process themselves so the Feds have to do it.
I was born and raised outside the Rez so I am not 100 percent familiar with everyday regs there. My family lost property rights to one Rez when they moved away in the 40's.
