The Autism thing is frightening. Not only do you ruin a kids life you need a caretaker for life. This destroys families. I wasn’t super anti vax until after the pandemic. Now I wouldn’t take or have my kids take any at all.

I’ve been listening to a bunch ok low carb doctors. A ketogenic diet reverses type 2 diabetes in a short period of time. Completely. Also cures a bunch of other ailments like stomach issues, rashes, skin problems, depression, hyper and hypothyroid ( mine is better) etc.
Drs will put you on a medication for life instead.
I have been following Dr. Paul Saldino though I still eat some veggies and enjoy some beer and wine as a treat. Never felt better after cutting out bread and all that sugar.
We need to stigmatize treatment of chronic conditions with pharmaceuticals. To ensure repeat business only symptoms get treated, never the underlying problem, and that's been the business model for a very long time. Acute, singular troubles may still require pharmaceutical assistance, but they should be restricted short-term, well-controlled applications accompanied by dietary advice.

I'd say, more than anything else, what you drink has more of an impact than anything else.
Soda (1 can of Pepsi= 15 teaspoons of sugar...) Red Bullshit & other "energy" drinks, "diet" drinks, HF sugar water of every kind, sugar added juices, drinks made from synthetic mixes/packets/flavored drops and one of the worst offenders - plain old water - that dehydrates, or over mineralizes etc
You shouldn't eat or drink anything that was never alive. Including water, which bypasses the digestive system...a squirt of lemon, honey or maple syrup changes everything.
Ready made slop is too easy to get and everyone has gotten really lazy. VERY few people can cook much of anything. Heating up isn't cooking... Don't get me started on msg, soybean anything and aspartame.
You're preaching to the choir TaQo! We drink spring & alkaline water, unsweetened ice tea, grilled meats & fish, free range of we can get it and low glycemic veggies in season, low glycemic fruit.
I make an exception for popcorn because I had a popcorn addiction before all of this started over 8 years ago. Real Irish butter from grass fed cows. Now, I'm hungry for buttered popcorn! 🍿
