I remember this same question being asked in early 2021. Most in that old thread seemed to agree that it stood for centipede. One body(GOAL) but many legs to take care of it.
Centipede is a song by a band called Knife Party. This is also where the terms "nimble navigator" and "impressive length" (later "impressive [anything, really]") comes from: The song has an excerpt from some centipede based documentary.
Giant tropical centipedes share their territories with tarantulas
Despite it's impressive length, it's a nimble navigator, and some can be highly venomous
As quick as lightning, just like the tarantula it's killing
the centipede has two curved hollow fangs which inject paralyzing venom
Even tarantulas aren't immune from an ambush
This centipede is a predator
Centipede!
Edit: Come to think of it, Nietzsche's Zarathustra had plenty to say on Tarantulas (black widows, really, but he called them tarantuals for some reason).
You preachers of equality
To me you are tarantulas, and secretly vengeful
But I shall bring your secrets to light
Therefore I laugh in your faces with my laughter of the heights
Therefore I tear at your webs
That your rage may lure you out of your lie-holes
And your revenge may leap out from behind your word: justice
...
The tarantulas, of course, would have it otherwise
"What justice means to us is precisely that the world be filled
With the storms of our revenge"
Thus they speak to each other
"We shall wreak vengeance and abuse on all whose equals we are not"
Thus do the tarantula-hearts vow
"And 'will to equality' shall henceforth be the name for virtue
And against all that has power we want to raise our clamour!"
You preachers of equality, the tyrannomania of impotence clamours
...
And when they call themselves "the good and the just"
Do not forget that they would be pharisees, if only they had power
It all began in the heady days of 2015….. the subreddit /r/the_donald had about 5000 members. Someone made a video meme using the song “centipede” by the electronic group Knife Party. The rest is history, it created a new class of meme and a million jokes. The meme wars flourished with classic statements like “get that man a coat”, build the wall”, “nimble navigator”, “impressive length”, “no brakes”, and “because you’d be in jail”. Of course these were the times Pepe made his first appearance which almost inexplicably caused Hillary to campaign publicly against a cartoon frog. They were glorious days pedes, and yet the future remains bright.
My recollection is it came from a nature show clip that marveled at the tenacity of the centipede. I also seem to remember it started over on The Donald, then migrated over here.

Yes that is correct. Seems like such a long time ago when we all jumped on the train!

If you're not in to dubstep or weird music videos this probably won't be your cup of tea, but the video in question is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSemARaqGqE

A living Unity.
I see. In the reddit link someone posted relates it to a sound clip in a song but from a nature documentary

Remember when Hillary called Pepe a white supremacist and the original creator of Pepe was freaked out that we embraced the frog 🐸.

That name "pedes" sucked from the beginning, i always associated it with Reddit and leftists, it's not a good name and it sounds much like "pedos".
