We have to remember that the only power the enemy over us is through temptation. His job is to tempt man and then accuse us before the Almighty when we fail. We fail because we give in to the temptations. The Almighty is in complete control and that includes the adversary.
The war between good and evil when distilled down is within ourselves. Evil in the world exists because we allow it. We chose between good and evil. It is mankind's own evil inclinations and failure to control base desires that manifests evil in the world. So they are right when they say that the power to topple those structures that enslave resides with us - from the bottom up - a moral and ethical people who manifest a reality of truth and goodness in the world. The battle lies within the heart of man.
