Thanks for the advice. I don't know exactly how my well works--it came with the house, since there's a LOT of groundwater here, to the point that it's actually illegal to have a basement where I am.
You are so lucky to have natural water! See if you can get a hold of your states Water Quality maps . These will show where the underground aquifers lie and if any have been shut down for contamination. It's important to know if there are any contaminations by industry, mining, technology whose runoff could be leaching into your well water.
You should also have your water professionally tested for everything they can. If it is good and clean you will be sitting pretty.
If not, you could purchase a couple of different water purification and water distillation machines to purify that beautiful free water. I use countertop distillers that work great.
Maybe. Fluoride is naturally occurring, but not likely in any amounts that governments added to water. Also I think the type of fluoride matters, aka "sodium fluoride".
When it doubt, filter (RO) or even better - distill.
Depends, do you know where your groundwater actually comes from? Because there are a lot of pipes (owned by the government) in the ground. Even when just trying to move water normally, things leak.
I have a "well." Does that mean I have fluoride in my water?
I do use a filter, but I don't think it's good enough to catch this if it does.
No, it probably has iron and other minerals.. . you can get your water tested by most County Agriculture Agents.

State lab can test your water. Costs maybe $45-60. Great to do every few years.
My county sends me test results quarterly...and they do not add fluoride...
Amazing ff!
Distill your water if you have fluoride in it and want to get it out. Filtering doesn't do the job.
The right RO filters and stages can remove fluoride, however distilling is the best way, and often a lot cheaper.

Flouride is added into the water at the water company site. Well water is not naturally flouridated.
