I haven't heard of anyone talking about this so I posted it. This is going to create havoc, even if you are on the west coast. I'd get your local stuff now, as the warehouses are going to empty shortly after.
Talked about several days ago, but thx for the update.
YTube the Pres (can’t remember his name atm) and watch his interviews. Very interesting. He says west coast may strike at the same time.
If they do…might cripple the county. Biden has the authority to demand a 80 day “cooling off” period where the LS still have to work. Biden has refused to get involved (last I read). The DS is salivating at the prices, pain and damage this would cause the citizenry.
Sept is National Preparedness Month, per Q. Stock up.
“While the Taft-Hartley Act gives the president the power to impose an 80-day cooling off period to delay a strike, Biden has said he doesn’t intend to use it here given the impact doing so could have on union votes; although with the Teamsters refusing to endorse Kamala…”
So Biden (DS handlers) will cripple the country for votes.
I heard about it a month ago, but didn't see too many articles about it. Nobody's talking about the possible strike. I missed your post about it, so when I finally read an article on ZH, I decided to post before it gets too late.
Trying to think back to the shortages caused by covid shipping delays: electronics, automobiles, anything that uses semiconductor chips, pc parts not made in the US, webcams, cell phones, toilet paper (pretty sure that's made here in USA but you know people will panic buy again), food in general (although I don't see that being an issue this time except imported goods such as rice, foreign-produced liquors). If I think of more I'll add to the list.
Now is a good time to get your Christmas shopping done before then!

I didn’t make a post, just commented on one. I’m glad you did this post. This could be a huge problem…
Yeah, I wondered why, in general, this is not getting more coverage.
Thanks for the update, last I had heard it was a maybe.
Anyone know what kind of goods to prioritize stocking up on?
Toilet paper
Kek
Clean drinking water if you would struggle to produce it without electricity.

Stock up, now.
Tomorrow I have to go to the lumber store.
Another distraction
