Fecking Thatcher....She took an experimental and untried economic theory as the gospel truth and implemented across the board regardless of any consequences.
It all hinged on control of the money supply which they could not do at all so they blamed inflation on the countries woes, they never even thought of saying they made a mistake and said "there is no alternative" TINA.
She was an admirer of the trickle down theory so she gave billions away to the financiers and bankers but could not understand for the life of her why they invested it all in offshore accounts, it was quite beyond her to grasp that bankers were not altruistic at all.
But she kept on giving all these billion away to them despite knowing they wouldn't reinvest it in the country. She went stark raving mad in 1990 and was removed from power
The sexes are not equal, and it's time we stop pretending they are. We need to stop making rules for exceptions, and instead make rules that encompass all...or nearly all. Women in government is just a bad idea. Might there be one or two who would do OK? Maybe. But you can't open Pandora's Box for that opportunity, and allow the masses to flood all the positions.
We've tried this experiment, and we have feckless, inept, impulsive women in government, to go along with all the feckless, inept, impulsive men. If it's just men, though, it's easier to police them without the women's card being thrown into the mix. Women, in general, lack the capacity for forethought, and the essence of consequences.
So you agree with bcfromfl that women 'lack the capacity for forethought'? ArmyLady, you seem intelligent to me. Why sell yourself and all of the intelligent, conservative women who are out there fighting for Americans' freedoms short to appease an anonymous commenter? Because a man is preferrable to lead the country that somehow diminishes our capacity to join alongside men in the battlefield of ideas and intellectual discourse?
Of course I count us among the intelligent conservative women who are indeed fighting with everything we have! As we would do for our own children, we would fight to the death for our Republic.
NO we do INDEED as our female ancestors did, fight alongside our men in the "battlefield of ideas and intellectual discourse."
INDEED no number of us have influenced the votes of our men!!
Our contribution is needed and valued. We do not accept brain dead empty suit dems to represent US!
SOME women do indeed lack critical reasoning skills. Not us!
Tulsi is very intelligent, but then so is Bobby, and yet they don't comprehend that the NWO disbursing multiple chem compounds into our atmosphere that increase the temperatures on the surface of the planet, continuously for decades, is what has affected our "climate". Any yet, the sea levels have not changed in 300 years. Go figure!
The worst polluters in the world, are not penalized, but they try to crush us. Are we not tired of being singled out for this shit?
Coal mines were being heavily subsidised which shot the price of coal up it was cheaper to import than continue to mine plus the fact the uk was converting to gas and coal demand was diminishing, it was all down to basic economics
Trivia question: Who was the first woman on a major party ticket to win the election for on of the two top spots? Answer: No one. Think hasn’t happened yet since Kamala didn’t WIN in the 2020 election. Her party stole it for her.
Margaret Thatcher was a competent party politician. But if you want to pick a female Brit with true leadership qualities, you're better of going with Boudica.
Who do we have though? I can't think of anyone who deserves the title of the first woman President! Pretty tough role to fill! Can't be an ordinary woman. Has to be someone of the likes of Washington, Lincoln, Reagan, Trump. Do you see anyone even close? even close to Trump?? I don't see any woman of that caliber.
We have some great women Republicans, but none I think up to that level, and the dems are worse and positively evil. EVIL!
In terms of policy and leadership ability, I'd have to say no one.
As far as attitude and willingness to buck the deep state / cabal, I might give thought to Cynthia McKinney. Although there are numerous areas where I disagree with her as well. (And if she ever made it in, they'd shoot her too.)

She, Reagan and the Pope however brought down godless atheist Communism, at least for a few years of world PEACE.
She did nothing, that was all down to Mikhael Gorbachev.
At the time the wall came down she was out of power and before that she was borderline insane.

You are not wrong.
There are some good conservative women trying hard with every ounce of their being, and deserve a vote over any RINO or any dem.
But a good conservative man, I would prefer.

Can we not invoke Margaret Thatcher as the exemplary female leader, please. She was a war monger and very good friends with Pedo Jimmy Saville.
Good candidate, but not in the caliber of President IMHO.
May she indeed have a future in our Republican majority! I also admire her courage!
If Tulsi was less of a gun-grabby climate cultist, she might not be an awful start. She seemed pretty solid in her interview with Shawn Ryan.

Are we no longer wanting Ivanka to follow her dad's lead and become President, too?
I remember when she had a pretty solid cheerleading squad on this board.
What qualifications does she really have?
If Thatcher were still alive, today would have been her 99th birthday 🎉
I was just a couple of weeks old when she became our PM. I've always said her influence rubbed off on me taking shape over my years in many ways.
If you were a bit older, you would have seen what Thatcher did to towns and communities across Britain. Ask the coalminers what they think of her.
Coal mines were being heavily subsidised which shot the price of coal up it was cheaper to import than continue to mine plus the fact the uk was converting to gas and coal demand was diminishing, it was all down to basic economics

Joan Rivers pointed out Obama was our first gay president and we saw how that ended...

Fuck Margaret Thatcher
Funny I was thinking the same thing today. She is no Margaret Thatcher, that is for sure!
Sorry, but there shouldn't be a woman president ever. I don't really want them in any level of government, not even the bureaucracy.
