The incoming Border czar said that they are going to war against the cartels. Trump also announced it a month or so before the election.
The cartels are the most gruesome people I've ever seen. The way the torture their enemies and get joy out of it, is sick, twisted and pure evil. The only worse people are those who torture children for adrenochrome.
There was a video a couple of years ago where some cartel members cut out the heart of a rival cartel member while he was alive, and then ate a piece of the heart. I was glad it wasn't high-quality video when I saw it!
Cartels definitely need to be taken out.
But we also need to ensure that we are thorough, and not just helping other cartels out by removing their rivals.

Trump mentioned in his Agenda 47 video that he would declare cartels as terrorist organizations and use US military assets against them. Not sure on the other sources.
I’m guessing she is beholden to the cartels. And will be disappeared when she try’s to get away.
If she is, I'm sure there were very persuasive threats made against her. It would be hard for any of us to resist people who say they WILL kill your entire family, and possibly you too, if you don't go along with them.
It takes a man who is credible for stuff like this to work.

Sure there are people in the Mexican government who are corrupt. Others though are owned and afraid. Remove the owner and you might have a good person still standing. If they’re being held hostage you shouldn’t try to destroy them along the way. I’m sure plenty are victims.
While I do agree I also think Mexicos government might be so corrupt that even if you do take out the heads they will just grow new ones - as in they will simply replace the puppets. Cartels are in charge and they will stay in charge as long as DS is alive. It’s better for Trump to make a deal and getting our border secured than declaring war. Those politicians are now stuck in between because they still have to answer to cartels - but they also have to answer to our President. If they defy either side they are done!

I have long felt that there should be a single, massive, instant, sneak, attack of the cartels, and their supporting villages, where EVERY male over 18 (or anyone of any age who appears to be defending with arms) is taken out. Yes, some "innocent" people would be killed, but how many THOUSANDS of essentially innocent people are killed every year in the U.S. because of the cartels? This would END the cartels! (and arrest the Mexican politicians who support them at the same time, to be put on trial for "crimes against humanity" or something with international implications)
Like they say getting rid of a cancer with ‘adequate margins’. Any small bit left will only grow back so must be eradicated completely.
