I don't see any problem with putting 70% of elected politicians in jail... why cut deals to let people "walk away" if the corruption is so serious? I don't get it...
Probably because these people are powerfully connected and can instigate serious violence upon the civilian population if they were to become cornered dogs. Look what they did in 2020 (riots, ect) and their lives were not on the line. This looks like a controlled takedown without the violence.
Then arrest them quickly and threaten their families with arrest and execution if retaliation takes place. You can't appease these people, they will not go away.
When you marry for power and not love and ate open to sacrificing a child for the prosperity of another or yourself that might not be as much leverage as you think it is. A higher loyalty[Y]. Execution may be preferable to what would happen from the cult also.
Idk but as long as there is enough to set us on the right path as society and give our kids hope in the future we might have to settle for a little less public accountability than us here would like to see. Not saying that is a great thing but if it's best than so be it.
I'm mostly concerned that if "they get away with it" then it will never end. There has to be justice here on earth or the abject disgusting evil will continue.

It seems that WE THE PEOPLE have to watch over these crooks better. I want term limits, audits of the one 'serving' us, family members, pets, I want their front yard audited - everything so we get good and moral people serving us.

Pragmatically speaking, it makes sense if their cooperation helps avoid innocent deaths. That would be either from standing down from their own potential actions or, more likely, by helping take down others higher up the chain who could cause greater damage themselves without the cooperation.

Yes, I feel the same way. All the crooks should serve jail time, much longer than the longest Jan 6 prisoner served for doing nothing at all.
