I disagree. A man can be proud that he stood up against the normal because he loved Jesus. Also, because he didn't join in with the popular opinion and helped out every person he could.
Even just relating this to the music industry alone, and what we know about it now. I would have to guess it was the same back then. So if Frank didn't sell his soul to devil for riches and fame that would be a self pride worth singing from the roof.
Although, I do agree that a wonderful man who does as best he can by the Lord, usually doesn't need to sing it.
we have learned over and over that none of 'them' make "it" unless they are compromised in one way or another. what exactly did he do for the Lord???
he was in a rat pack, they all sold their souls for fortune and fame. this goes way beyond Diddler. this has been happening in Hollyweird since it began.
people who want fortune and fame sell their soul for it.
there are millions, upon millions of people who have talent, only those who sell their souls make it. hmmmmmmmmm........
yes there was, but i don't remember the drop number.
but a lot of people go to hollyweird wanting to get fame and fortune, not all of them make it on talent alone, they have to do nasty things.
to be honest i don't think Frank can sing that well. many other people sing way better than him. imo, he was elevated because he would do what satan told him to do. that is between him and God.
I won't say it with certainty, because it's been awhile since I've seen any of it. But I do remember seeing shady stuff about Frank and his satanic connections. So context does matter when it comes to lyrics, and I'd say if he was of the satanic crowd then that definitely plays a role in how these lyrics should be interpreted.

Yep. Wasn’t there a q drop about this. Born into this and raised as a satanic scumbag or getting sacrificed?

The majority yes but not all. I would agree if you take the lyrics as a self proclaimed praise by Frank Sinatra that's not a good light.

Bob Hope would appear a saint next to Frank. But appearances are deceiving.
