Their was lots of friendly fire in ww2.
I'm sure there was given the amount of aircraft in the skies during battles but we have some pretty advanced tech these days to identify aircraft.
We no longer have to rely on stripes painted on planes to identify them.
We are light years ahead of that now
Yes i know very well. It's still war, shit happens and it happened a lot in ww2. Main thing here,is that no one was killed.
The USS Long Beach shot down an Iranian Airbus on a scheduled flight path in the 80's used modern tech of the time, it can still happen despite all the checks and interlocks used.
Actually it was the USS Vincennes that shot down the airliner.
True, but the CIWS system, which includes the Sea Sparrow (not-so-affectionately called the Sea Chicken as a lot of those missiles either "hang fire" and fail to launch, or they fail to ignite the solid rocket propellant on firing and just get ejected off the launcher into the drink), has IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) capabilities which have to be manually overridden in order to shoot down a US/Ally aircraft. So, someone "screwed the pooch" bigly in this situation.
The ghost of McNoname rears its evil ugly head.
While it could be error, consider the battle behind the scenes over hacking and control of all the war systems, as well as the growing communist infiltration of our armed forces, lastly adding what we know of controlled people (monarch, et al). I entertain the possibility that this is not the first time that rogue elements have had to be neutralized before they initiated something terrible.
Also recently I read that the British pilot who showed that German bombing zeppelins weren't invincible, by flying above them and bombing from above, died suddenly only a few days later WHEN HIS PLANE DISINTEGRATED IN MIDAIR. Modern me says, possible but not freaking likely.
War is big business. Satanists plan and cause it. Politicians declare it. Banks finance it. We die in it.
These are advanced weapons systems. I can almost guarantee friendly fire control systems were of the highest priority. Someone try to pop off on us before the main event?
Apparently yes, cruise missiles etc. which leads to the next question, why launch a plane?
DEI releasing weapons.
“Just seconds”. That is why you get paid the big bucks. The odds are very high that it was a DEI.
exactly
Transponders are raciss.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank God for mode 4.
Less humiliating than admitting Al Nasrala (the Houtis), shot it down, as they claim.

That's what you call a 'Blue on Blue' Christmas
It wasn't incompetence. The only way CIWS shoots down one of our jets is through manual override.
That what I thought. Either that or they are covering for the stone age people shooting it down.
