I don't necessarily trust that its genuine, as Cenk has spit as much vitriol towards Trump, his supporters, and conservatives as anyone. He is demonstrably unhinged in almost any video you find of him. But, he has not been fan of the legacy democrat establishment for awhile, even dating back to 2016 when he melted down at Trump's first win.
I think he's a firebrand who just wants to rant and rave for money, but he could be a useful asset.
