Biden did this to either 1) make it take longer for Trump to implement his agenda (Think law suits by environmental groups); 2) Biden getting kick-backs from an industry set to make a windfall off of the new regulations; or 3) Both 1 and 2 (most likely)
Expanding insidious government infiltration into every aspect of our daily lives-first gas stoves now gas water heaters what’s next backyard gas grills?
On the flip side, if it turns out that zero-point energy is really a thing, then we can heat our water for free via electricity from a source that's the size of a shoebox and can power the entire house.
Hot water heaters spread demand over the day with small peaks. Electric Tankless don't work very well or quickly, and they have huge peaks during high demand times, which are fairly uniform (between 530-7am people showering to go to work)
Gas makes sense because they work much better/faster and there is no load on the electrical grid.
For some reason, I can only conclude that the Biden administration wants people to wreck our electric grid. Maybe it's a hegelian dialectic
Problem: America is lagging in Nuclear (fusion) energy and this is very bad because we're going to lose our title as energy leader, and we'll be out competed in every way by Russia/China and others
Reaction: Let's wreck the energy grid by banning all natural gas / propane appliance and causing an overburden with EV vehicles also, to create artificial justification to update it
Solution: We tell america we can't go forward without Nuclear. We build nuclear fusion and safer/updated/modernized fission plants (hopefully thorium molten salt reactors)
The other idea is that they are forcing people back to traditional hot water heaters because on demand ones really suck. They might do this in order to level out the usage over the day in order to help the electrical grid meet the higher EV demands
If you have surplus solar power, and not feeding back to grid, heating that water tank is a good way to store excess energy. Place the gas-based water heater, in series, after the electricity-based water heater, for cloudy days.
Tankless water heaters fire up on demand.
Water heaters with tanks keep that entire amount of water heated. How is that more efficient?!?
It’s not.
Answer: It's not.

More electricity = Roth $
Don't give them any ideas on their way out the door.

Let me know when that happens, please.
The globohomo does NOT want us to have cheap, or especially FREE energy.
They want us in constant fear of not being able to heat out homes, cool out homes, or even have stable electricity.
They want us to have 3rd world rolling blackouts, and to pay them exorbitant amounts of money for power.
It's why they are cutting us off from nuclear, and not allowing fusion reactors to become a viable power source.
You can thank "God's chosen people" for this all
Mini hydro seems like a good source of steady power. It should take you off the grid permanently.

The reactors do not even need to be thorium.
Even if we stuck with uranium but did Gen IV Pebble Bed Reactors, we'd be light years ahead.

But yes, if we could go thorium, that would be totally bitchin'. And I am not being sarcastic.
This suggests the whole green thing was a fraud that was pushed by people who actually wanted to destroy America's technology leadership
That's exactly what they are doing...
