Just a scary thought, If we where too acquire Canada and Mexico then there'll be no Illegals all the 30mill plus plus Illegals here will become American Citizens and all there Cartel gangs and God only knows how many Chinese have infiltrated along with all over Nationalities in Canada along? I'm just not wrapping my head around this Idea.

Mexico has a really skinny, easily-defended southern border... If we annex them (considering most of them are here already) 2 Senators, a few Representatives, plus increased tourism, I'd consider it... 52nd State. We might reserve the right to call it "South Texas" though... :D

These maps do not show Mexico being acquired and I have not heard of Mexico being annexed. Why is this a concern?
I heard the Panama canal is in play, but that's a shipping channel for National security.
As for infiltatrations, wouldn't it be better to own the land so they can be deported rather than allow them to grow in a foreign country with thousands of miles of border on our doorstep?

My opinion is that DJT is just trying to shake up the Canadian liberal establishment (which includes about 80% of the population, if my ten years of living and working there is any indication).
Really didnt you see that interview that Trump gave to the press. They asked him if he would use military to take Canada and he said no we are doing it economically. Thats why the high tarifs.

The Panama Canal may also be taken back for national security reasons. We built it. Tens of thousands of Americans died building it. It was given away by Jimmy Carter for $1.
China is clearly making a run at it. The U.S., under Trump, will never let China control the canal.
I agree, and have wondered this as well. What would have been the point of the border wall and mass deportations then if soon they’d all be legally free to come right back? Makes no sense.

Most of the invaders weren't from Mexico the last 4 years. Majority came from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Mexican cartels would have to be dealt with by the military if any type of annexation would happen. But, Trump isn't talking about Mexico in that way so I wouldn't worry about it.
I live near Woodbridge, VA (you can look it up on a map) and we have a Consulado de El Salvador (i.e not a border country) and yet everyone is just cool with it, like it is nothing... no biggie, nothing to see here... There is an Outback Steakhouse just next door...
That maybe so, but know matter where the Illegal's came from isn't important as they are here unvetted and Illegally period. Come here through our Front door and be vetted and go through being assimilated into our Country.
