Who benefits?? who will be snapping up all the land from homeowners who cannot afford to rebuild and still have a mortgage and property taxes to pay off??
The travesty of sheriff's sales for property taxes, is that they can auction it off just for the amount of property tax owed! They need not try to get market value so that the homeowner gets anything, as long as they sell it to pay for the property taxes.
WE do not own our homes if they can be sold for property tax owed.

All defaults on loans. Instead nifty cash when the end of the dollar hits they'll have real-estate. When a new currency is established they'll sell it all for a trillion or two. This isn't the only place on the globe it's happening.
1800s almost every major city burned to the ground. Had to be rebuilt on bank loans.

Insurance companies calculate risk. At the end of the contract period they or the homeowner can choose not to renew. These insurance carriers determined the risk was astronomical in light of the incompetent people that California voters either elected or votes were continued to be counted until the person the marxists wanted was selected. YOUR GOVERNMENT IS obligated to serve YOU! CA voted the funds for a new reservoir in 2014. Your gov’t has YET to build it! THIS IS A DERELICTION OF DUTY! Several CA Fire Dept. including LA, donated equipment to Ukraine in 2022 & the mayor cut 17 million fire budget!
If the company cancelled you in mid- annual contract you may have legal standing.
People dilly dally around when they get the renewal cancellation notice, I have been okay thus far etc. Don’t like the premiums quoted from more high risk insurers. You’re thinking marxist-ish if you think gov’t has to do something.
Look at North Carolina & Maui.
These fires in my opinion are all planned and set by activists disguised as homeless people or could be terrorists. Terrorists like to use fire as a weapon.

I honestly feel bad for him but he has a net worth estimated to be between 8 and 20 million.
People saying we should start a Go Fund Me for him have to ask how much of his millions he contributed to other fire victims or the people who lost everything in the hurricane.
I'm almost thinking he'd agree with me. He will be okay. If you want to donate to people who lost their homes maybe it would be better to donate to people who aren't millionaires.
That net worth is probably a lot lower with his house burnt down. Those homes aren't cheap.

Q said that they think we will follow the stars. Just because a celebrity leans right and supports Trump doesn't make them less of a celebrity. James is going through a terrible situation in his life but his ability to bounce back is much better than most people's.
If you know their name they did something on behalf of the "Big Club" to keep their fame.

Thank you for checking in. I'm in San Diego, a solid 2+ hour drive (with no traffic) from the fires in LA. All seems to be okay for now in San Diego.
