I thought it was over the top of Trump to engage this way. Obama’s three terms have irrevocably changed our world and hurt Americans.

Relax. They are not buddies. Contrary to what the Trump haters will tell you, Trump is a nice guy on the personal level. Person to person.
When he's difficult, and when people get their panties in a bunch, is when he puts on his CEO hat. CEOs are hard people. Tough people. They can be mean and nasty. But very few of us ever deal with one. We might deal with an AVP or a VP. But, never a CEO. Never.
So, people can't understand Trump's behavior. They're naive about how things work and just think he's mean.
