Stepping voltage up? That will lower the amp draw and decrease heat, but may fail some appliances.
Lowering voltage? That will increase the amp draw and cause things to get hot, maybe start a fire before the breaker trips. But the breakers will heat up here as well, so trip faster.
Meter burst into flames? Mine is on a pole, 30ft from house. RV fire shared above did not have meter physically on the RV.
What is the physics for the smart meter to start a fire?
What is the physics for solar panels connected to lithium batteries to burn? Lithium car batteries? What toxic substances are people breathing in the smoke?
I think a big part of the problem is having at least a pound of plastic attached to your house and underneath the eaves.
If the shutoff switch in the meter is cycled rapidly, this will stress many appliances. If the switch can be operated very rapidly, i.e. 60Hz, the chopped-up power will have a significant DC component. Transformers and induction motors would be very unhappy to get DC.
If the meter contains a Metal Oxide Varistor as a surge suppressor, those devices are susceptible to thermal runaway in the event of sustained overvoltage. Hmm, a device that could be installed for totally legitimate technical reasons and serve as a remotely triggerable ignition source. MOVs are in power strips as well.
If the neutral connection is broken, the 120v loads will play tug of war and if they are not balanced one side will be overvoltage. This may need to be done at the neighborhood transformer. In the electrical diagrams I have seen, the neutral current does NOT flow through the meter.
In my state, the neutral and ground are tied together at the box closest to the meter, and a ground rod is installed there. And the neutral is not running through the "meter", just behind it.
I saw this post this morning on my way to church. I didn’t have time to comment then but I wanted to add my story to this. In 2014, my husband and I had our fifth wheel trailer burn down on a property we had recently purchased with the intent of putting a home on it. We had a valve malfunction on the fridge. Praise the Lord God Almighty we lost no lives, human or animal. Long story short, we had the power established and had been billed for two months. The fire marshal came and wrote that we were illegally hooked to the pole and pirating power, basically. The power co had installed a smart meter when we had it hooked up. I believe the fire marshal was covering for the power co because he thought it was a smart meter malfunction. We were upset and our lives were upended, to say the least. I didn’t notice what he wrote until I ran into the form a couple of years later. Seeing this post reminded me of this. The smart meters have been a problem for quite awhile now.
Amen! I now really, really appreciate what’s important. We lost many physical things that can’t be replaced, like rare Serbian coins and things. They were just that, things. We were so thankful when we found our cat. She went missing after that night for four days. I thought she had been trapped inside the trailer. I went through extreme grief and prayer that I was wrong. We put food over there with our dog, Max, on the off chance that she would come back if she was alive. We were staying at my Mom’s after this. Lo and behold,(I’ll be forever thankful for this), she DID come back. She ran up into the engine compartment on our moving truck and got stuck. My daughter checked for her while we were at the hospital with my mom and she found her, in that engine compartment right next to Max. I dropped to my knees when she told me Gherkin was okay and thanked God with all my heart. He answered my prayers and really humbled me that He did this for me.
Apart from any fire risk, people across Texas can attest that smart meters are being used to overcharge customers, run meters up, and that there is corruption and theft on a massive scale in the power companies here.
The article I posted is from March 2024 and not related to the claim of the unmetered house not burned. My wife said she read that on X, but I can’t find the source. If someone read that claim, please provide a link. My link should start anyone down the rabbit hole that wants to investigate further.
Yes the smart meter theory. Why don't you people ever believe in Directed Energy Weapons? I believe there's a satellite in outer space that's lighting these houses on fire. Am I the only guy on the GreatAwakening website that believes that? Go ahead tell me I am.
Yup... smart meters are not your friend. In the moist, tropical environment where I grew up, I saw the difference before and after smart meters were installed on the health of the people, the overall intelligence level of humans, and the increase in mold spores and growth, which led to increased allergies of the people here and autoimmune issues. Additionally, honeybee populations started to decrease. These smart meters are deadly in more than one way, and yes, they can be remotely activated to start fires, as can any smart device, such as a cell phone. If you can change out your smart meter for an old fashioned "dumb" one, you will see some good effects, but it is really difficult to deal with if you live in a very populated area where everyone has smart meters.
So what is the math here?
Stepping voltage up? That will lower the amp draw and decrease heat, but may fail some appliances.
Lowering voltage? That will increase the amp draw and cause things to get hot, maybe start a fire before the breaker trips. But the breakers will heat up here as well, so trip faster.

Asking the right questions.

The transmission from the smart meter could be used as an aiming target for a pumped phase-conjugate system. https://greatawakening.win/p/17t1y999Mt/q1730-specialized-weapons-packag/
RV fridge fires are somewhat common, much more common than household fridge fires. RV fridges work very differently from compressor based fridges.
Thank you, good things to chew on.
RV fridges; mine is propane, so a flame heats a sealed ammonia circuit to move the heat out of the insulated box. It will run on electric as well.

Omgoodness...Thank the Good Lord you were all unharmed! 🙏
The Fire Marshall should have charges filed against him! 🤬

Oh girl...what a wonderful day for you!! God's tender Mercies are given to us daily! Thank you for sharing your happy ending! ☝️🙏🙌

I know SCE has been overcharging me for a few years.
My smart meter stopped reporting so they were using 'estimates'.
Meter was finally replaced and my bill is one third what it was previously.
No idea, but I said no to the installation. In order to do that, I had to call them to say so, and at the same time, agree to a $15/mo. surcharge.
Can you revert back to the "non" Smart Meter? We're in Michigan, so it's a very dumb State. TIA
They insalled without asking in upstate ny
Same here, told me about it after they installed it. WA state.
Good work, fuck that radiation spewing box. Im gonna sign up asap.
This means the dimmer switch still works.

Simple, ask James Woods if he has a smart meter.
Ok, here’s the link

Kinda make ya wonder what's in the 'meters', doesn't it?
Thanks for this. I'd forgotten about the bullshit meters
We have a smart meter on our Texas house.
It was installed years ago, without our permission and against our will.
Yes the smart meter theory. Why don't you people ever believe in Directed Energy Weapons? I believe there's a satellite in outer space that's lighting these houses on fire. Am I the only guy on the GreatAwakening website that believes that? Go ahead tell me I am.
Possibly, but that doesn’t explain why some homes are untouched among a whole neighborhood of roasted ones.
Sure it does. Those homes were not targeted for whatever reason.

I think lithium batteries are a bigger danger, but it could be some smart meters are worse than others.
