If anyone hasn't watched the latest Top Gun, its a fantastic movie, with no woke crap, great redemption arc and overall wholesome.
It is extremely rare for me to like a sequel better than an original. This one comes very close and might actually do it.
I watched the original before going to see the new one, back when it came out, and I have to say I really enjoyed #2.
#1 has a place in my heart. We'd play tag on our dirt bikes, and this one time...
Totally agree. When I went to see it in the cinema and the re-worked theme started playing I will admit to getting a bit teary and wanting to go back in time to when the original came out.
