Our whole Continent is called North America, which includes Mexico, the US & Canada. That body should rightfully be named for the entire Continent! More of it borders our country!
On a related but more serious note, I'll be very curious to see if we notice any changes with google search in the coming year.
As many of you know, there's a ton of data/subjects that you just can't find in major search engines any longer. All kinds of historical events that paint the U.S. Government and especially the IC in a bad light, to say nothing of more esoteric subjects.
I'm cautiously hoping that we might get some semblance of a true search engine back from at least one of the major search providers.
When i worked for Google during covid, they classified all employees as government contractors, probably to push the vaccine but it always struck me odd. So if they classify all their employees as government contractors, I would think by extension it should be updated.
That being said Google really is just an intelligence service branch.
It's blending together with all the other EOs I read yesterday, but the order was basically "Hey, department in charge of naming these things, you have 30 days to pull whatever strings you have to to make this happen." And also restoring Denali's old name.
Will be a very happy day for us all if they get shut down. I grew up on Microsoft Windows (DOS/3.11 up to Windows 7) and using Google but for the last 10+ years, I've hated them both for what they've become today.
I switched away from Windows to Linux and I've stopped using Google products other than Gmail (I got my first account around the time Gmail was released) and I've been looking forward to the break up/shut down of the monopolistic companies.
what the heck is the Gulf of Mexico? Never heard of it.
It's an ancient body of water where oil drilling has been banned.

The only tweak I would do is the Gulf of North America.
but ----- since there are no other major gulfs, we could go shorter ----- Gulf America
Gulf of Mexico does not exist.
I've lived on the Gulf Coast for 60 years in March. The odds I remember to call it "Gulf of America" is slim lol
It's a brilliant workaround of the Indefinite Ban on Gulf of Mexico drilling. By renaming it, the ban is ineffective.
On it's face though, it is silly. It'd be like renaming the Atlantic Ocean the Eastern American Ocean.
Holy shit...that's an awesome idea. Get this to Trump
Who banned it and when? Why can't he just unban it instead of renaming?
I don't remember where or when I saw it, but it was 2024 by Biden and the wording was such that it couldn't be undone by Executive Order.
This is what the cabal does. They change names & change the meaning of names. They do not like it when their strategies are used by us to our benefit!

This is a good chance to see if these yahoo will cooperate.
That might be the whole point.
Executive Orders only impact government.

i like how you think!
Executive orders apply to executive agencies in government.

If they don't cooperate shut them permanently.

Yeah. Gimme my twitter account back too!
