I've spent the past 40+ years of my life in New England. I attended public schools and lived on campus while at college in Boston. During my many decades here I've experienced the social / economic changes first hand as my hometown was overrun with illegals who are so bold that they mock us and have zero regard for the rules. These people do 90% construction and roofing. It's easy to identify them since they drive "company" vans with 12-16 ladders and a couple wheelbarrows strapped to the roof to and from each job site. The women are usually 5 foot nothing, long dark hair and push their baby carriages all over downtown.
The hospitals are overrun and at risk of maintaining operating costs, the schools don't have enough ESL teachers and the legal student GPA's naturally fall off a cliff over time. They keep chickens illegally inside their basements & apartments, often spreading scabies, lice and tuberculous and live in close quarters with triple the allowed occupancy.
I once witness a hit and run returning home from work. The guy sped off and after being sure the victims were unharmed, I took off to chase down the offender. Got a clear description of his car, plate and appearance. He was begging me through broken English to let him go. Problem is, it doesn't really matter since they don't bother to register or insure their crappy cars, so when they get in a wreck bad enough to disable their car, they just run off into the woods.
The same happened to my good buddy who saw an illegal so drunk that the guy tore the front wheel off his car with a telephone pole and then abandoned the car in the middle of the overpass to flee the scene on foot. Only occasionally do they get caught and face the repercussions.
Enough of the crappy backstory, on to the good stuff!
My good friend texts me a couple days ago. The conversation goes like this:
Friend - It's the weirdest thing, downtown is EMPTY.
Me (trying to be cute) - Like all the illegals are heading home?
Friend - Yeap, It's all empty. No traffic on Main St. Nobody walking downtown. Nobody at the laundromat. It's very strange. Not a lot of trucks on South St with the ladders.
Me - Holy π©I was only half joking. Where the hell did they go?
Friend - I think they're all in hiding. I have a friend from the Mexican Cantina, who works with the church and she was holding a meeting tonight with people who are concerned about ICE. She's afraid nobody is going to show up. She was going to translate for them their concerns about getting captured. I drove by the church and there was not a lot of people there.
Me - Wow, that's amazing. I don't want anyone to get hurt, but the illegals did cut the line before all the folks that did it the right way.
I have another friend that works for a local labor union office. She says they are getting calls looking for skilled people to help with the on-going construction jobs. Lots of their regular workers haven't been showing up and it's causing delays.
Keep your chin up Frens, things are changing, the pendulum is changing directions.

Oh it's happening...
NJ Walmart yesterday...watched 10 white and one black person walk out as I walked in. It's usually wall to wall beaners, exactly like you described. Now, there are legitimate Hispanics who live here, but THEY have insurance, NJ plates, God fearing and keep to themselves - good people.
Inside was lovely...it was almost like I had the place to myself, I got a spot near the front and everything!
There's a definite impact happening this week...
Walmart's nation wide...
I haven't noticed too much reduction in our local Walmarts in Utah yet, though it seems we have some cartel activity in many areas of Utah, maybe just not enough to offset the local citizens too much. Maybe a 5%-10% reduction, though we haven't had the same violence & welfare programs other states have. Though we do have seasonal workers & construction that is a big draw for many illegals during the summer months.
A buddy of mine who spent over 2 years in South America, on a religious mission speaking Spanish, has told me many of the guys he has hired that have green cards to work seasonal jobs can't stand the illegals because they cut the pay for those who are here as temp workers legally. IIRC about 25%-35% of seasonal workers in this area are illegal & the rest are doing it the right way with a green card & go back when the harvest is done each year. Apparently many of them will work here in the spring, summer & fall for about 10-15 years & then semi retire in their home country because the USD hmgive them so much buying power over that time they worked here.
I hope rental & home prices drop for you guys that live in these areas that were flooded with illegal aliens.
Before the illegals came swarming in, I went to school with lots of Puerto Rican's and even dated a PR girl. All good wholesome, God fearing friendly people.
Magnificent!
I'm also in NJ, have noticed a slight decrease of illegals so far. I'm going to Walmart some time this weekend, it should be interesting. Usually on the weekends Walmart is crowded with Spanish speaking families with carts, yes carts, filled to overflowing with hundreds of dollars worth of groceries, and paid for with our tax money. Can't wait to say adios to the majority of them
Keep in mind that it's, "Mother's day" this weekend... AKA "that time of the month".... yanno, the 1st when they all get their gibs checks and go through like locusts.
If you don't buy packaged food, you're probably fine... Heaping, overflowing shopping carts full of bs RFK Jr wouldn't eat, just getting wheeled out the door for zero dollars... while YOU not only pay for that, but full price on your stuff. Nice right?
Anyway... that may skew your metrics as it were. Might want to wait a couple days...
I'm not going there to grocery shop, it's total insanity on the weekends. I actually need some sewing supplies and scented candles : ) And yes, I check out what's in their carts, and would never buy most of that stuff. I love it when they go to check out with at least two carts per family, while I carefully budget what I spend on groceries.
I know... it's out of control.
It's one thing to be appreciative while remaining frugal... it's something entirely different when they're already 2 full carts deep and getting "cash back" so they can buy lottery tickets πππ
Yup.
Isnβt it nice not to have to wait in endless lines everywhere you go?
Thanks for reporting in. I hope we hear more and more stories like this!
I hope they went back to their country of origin and not just hiding in some basement.
Good point!
They are hiding for now. Hopefully it will be their turn to get rounded up and sent south to their country of origin.
My pleasure Fren.
Maybe next week I'll make another post about the good things I saw during and after Christmas.
More jobs and housing for Americans. My poor grandmother lamented today about not receiving benefits she desperately needs, but Mexican people receive benefits. Granny is inadvertently MAGA now; it happens to poor blacks and whites alike.
Absolutely... Americans first! Prayers for your Granny! π
Iβm praying your Grandma gets the help she needs- fast. Tell her to keep praying and hang in there. Iβm praying for you, too, biblegirl.
Thank you, sweetie.
This is great news IRL. Iβm hoping to see a change in my area as well, but Iβm in Arizona and Iβm not hopeful.
Praying that it will happen in time Fren. π
I donβt live in Vermont but visited one time a couple years ago. I walked into a Walmart in Burlington, and it was like being in another country. Almost everyone in there looked like a refugee and I wasnβt hearing much English either.
Do you mean that we can finally now get paid a Fair wage for our time and our labor, and we don't have to compete with the entire goddamn planet for housing in our own country?
Welcome to what Texas has been dealing with for years. Had an illegal hit and run my wife. Cop asked us not to press charges since he has a family here
Sorry Fren. That's horrible, I'm sure if the tables were turned, they would want to sue you to make some extra cash knowing that you are insured.
20 years ago, shortly after we got married, the wife and I came home to an acrid smell of smoke in the house. In a panic we searched all over the house to see if something electrical was on fire.
We called the fire department to help us find it since it was overpowering inside the house.
Turns out, the illegal Brazilians renting the house behind us had been burning construction debris, shingles, old wiring, pressure treated wood etc. The fire chief wrote up a citation for unmanned and illegal burning. They moved away a few months later.
The stench was so bad, it permeated the bridal bag of my wife's wedding dress. It took us weeks to air it out and remove the smell.
So, I think it gets better. I was at a gas station today, and someone was having an issue getting their card to pay for the pump pre-pay. Well, let's think this through. The illegals were provided pre-paid cards that automatically got money, OUR money, put onto them once a month, thanks to the Deep State swine. At the flip of a switch, what if them cards were not only no longer getting $$ put on them? Or better yet, the balance starts dropping, along with their bank accounts, as "incentive"?
Largest self-deportation in history.
Great to hear first hand accounts!
Levels of stupidity off the charts; really moronic government employee, not even Hispanic, scared to go out because she speaks Spanish and thinks she'll get picked up by ice.
If she's that stupid, it's probably best to let her figure that out alone.
Omg I hear you Fren , here in San Diego same thing itβs rediculous
I about crapped myself laughing when a few years ago a large hail storm hit Lincoln Nebraska and I was sitting in a friends house watching the College BB World Series when there was a bunch (75-100) very tanned guys running through peoples back yards jumping fences. We all got up like βwhat the hellβ. 20 minutes later the friends doorbell rang. My buddy was talking to this contractor salesman with a black jacket and boldly written ICE on the front and back. In small print it had I**a Contracting Enterprises. The guy said it clears out neighborhoods π Cool guy and sat and watched the rest of game. Man he told some of the funniest stories.
Hey OP, maybe print up some of those graphics of phoning into ICE any anonymous tips, you know the one states it's the law and all that. Go around town at night and tape them up on light poles in a lot of different places.
Let these fuckers feel the heat for a change.
That's an awesome idea. I'd have to make it very clear with "ICE" graphics since lots of the illegals are from Ecuador and only speak some mountain "Quichua" dialect. English is certainly out of the question.
This costs the hospitals and schools extra since they have to call / hire specialists that can speak Quichua.
Why keep chickens in a basement when you can build a small run to hold 4-6 of them in a mall yard? Saying basement I assume this isn't an apartment scenario, but a house in the suburbs at the very least. Am I wrong about that?
My family has raised chickens for generations (not as many as my great grandmother (who had hundreds on her multiple acers), but enough to keep eggs coming in for our families & often give them away to neighbors if we can't use them fast enough. You would be amazed at how many eggs 6 good laying hens can produce.
The illegals will rent entire houses. Most towns have restrictions on having chickens unless you have several acres of properly. To get around this they "hide" the chickens indoors. One house got busted for using the kitchen cupboards as a hen house. Knowing how messy my coop and chicken run can get, it must be an absolute nightmare for the landlords to clean up.
Fortunately I have enough land and have had backyard chickens for the past 14 years. Yes!!! The eggs are amazing and so much more delicious. One year, I sold 50 dozen eggs to my coworkers!
Seeing and hearing the deportations feels like absolute victory, even if the fight is not over. Sometimes I just bask in the moment.
You mean to tell me that citizens can hang drywall again for competitive wages?
Thanks for the sticky Mods!
Theyβre all hiding, huhβ¦ thatβs interesting, I hope ICE Hope wonβt be afraid in kicking down a few hundred doors!
Thanks for sharing and good luck with you
Thank you for taking the time to share this.
