The fact the House is forming a task force doesn’t mean the Executive Branch won’t just release the files. It seems to me this committee has two primary objectives.
First, they will perform an investigation of these events using the declassified files that are released. Second, they will fight against any DS attempts to defy President Trump’s declassification directive.
“The People’s representatives” need to be made to feel involved and important.
Which is why there’s a billion and a half House and Senate Committees that functionally serve no purpose aside from generating paperwork and frustrating what should be straightforward processes.
At a high level it's optics in hopes of giving some credibility back to congress. From a constitutional perspective, it's the correct and legal approach. How did anyone think the info was going to be disclosed? The media? Trump himself? How about the CIA or the FBI?
My guess is active investigations in these specific fields of interest, so what can be released publicly needs to be combed through for legal reasons. But thats my hope.
I was thinking that it might have something to do with all of those "suddenly found" fbi files. A task force could wade through & verify the info faster.
Once a committee is formed nothing will happen
Well Duh that’s why they are doing it ! You nailed it Fren !
Americans are sound bite consumers. Give the sheeple everything at once and their small brains just can't take it in.
Drip, drip, drip is more effective with the sheeple, and the bonus is it maintains a high level of stress on the cabal's puppets.
We voted for unequivocal transparency and disclosure. Not "curated declas" that gives these bastards a chance to twist the narrative.
The only thing that will twist in the end is them in the wind. kek
We've been waiting for what is coming for years, and there is no big rush now that Trump and the whitehats are back in control.

Do you not understand why it has to be this way?
If there's even an ounce of buttfuckery going on with Trumps admin, we have to call it out. We've suffered long enough of this bs.

I do not. Tell me how it's not pure grift.
Patriots are in control.

If there's still active investigations for JFK and 9/11, somebody fucked up. Bigly.
Agreed.
or new investigations open? IDK but I feel like there's more to this. Maybe I'm wrong
don't wanna hear about a "task force"
lay it all out on the table. The American people are grown ups-and have paid for the files and the tables
Release the damn things.. We've already done the work. What BS.
