Zelensky had the ultimate nerve to sit there and think he was going to dictate how this deal went down. As Trump said...he was skating on some SERIOUSLY thin ice. Did he think he could sit there and humiliate Putin in front of Trump, all the while Trump is trying to broker a deal with Putin? How does that make Trump look? If Trump hadn't said something, it'd look like he was agreeing with Zelensky, and that would destroy the gains he'd made with Putin. What an absolute D*CK maneuver by Zelensky.
I think someone gave that little sht marching orders to go in there and sink negotiations and clearly he's following orders and doing what he's been told like the shtty actor he's always been.
He could have gone in there, done some a**-kissing like he should have, and things could have gone well. The US is not just any country, merely on par with everyone else, and certainly not to those out there who've taken advantage of our generosity before. This was the modern day equivalent to the Soviets removing their missiles from Cuba; there simply is no one out there who can dictate anything or challenge us, especially now. The proper international order is officially re-established.
PDJT/JDV are rightfully PISSED about the messes they have to clean up now, in no small part due to Z's entitled attitude, and the prior administration's absolute ineptitude, and news flash: so are We The People.
Anyone left out there without the sense to get in line and remember their place, deserves the same things: a good chastisement and zero financial support from our taxpayers. Disrespect and a lack of gratitude are no longer tolerated, and PDJT/JDV & Co sent the message loud and clear.

Well, to be fair, Americans are not arrogant. While appreciating the negotiation tactic, Trump didn't portray the general empathy that we actually are. That being said, we also have had enough of Ukraine and it was time to establish our disgust for the war and it needs to end. If arrogance is the tool to make our point... so be it. The important point is we want peace. We are not looking for more war... particularly one that they can never win.
