I read that Grade 6 students 60 years ago, had a better command of the English language than people entering College today. A shocking graph I read recently, AFTER they removed Prayers out of Schools, bad trends started happening almost Immediately. SAT Scores dropped like a lead balloon. Unwed birth rates and single Mothers started rising. As well as violent crime. Bring Prayer back into the Class Room asap.
We need to return to achieving Exceptionalism, without our own Nation. Not just importing it from outside. Yesterday, I mentioned building new Magnificent Cities that you had to be invited into. This would breed a new wave of younger people aiming for Excellence because there was something exciting waiting for them, if they worked hard for it.
Tax citizens. Send money to IRS bureaucracy. Send remaining money to other government bureaucracies. Send some of the remaining money to the various states WITH STRINGS ATTACHED!! Because it is now "federal money" so the feds get to dictate!!
This map is backward! The citizens of the various Sovereign States of these United States should keep their OWN money!
Education is NOT a constitutional responsibility of the federal government.
WHO CARES which states get a higher % of money "back" after it has been shrunk by several cycles of bureaucracy!!
After you account for the bureaucratic shrinkage, all states likely contribute more than they get back. Not counting the money laundering favoring teachers' unions, back to the dems, etc.
I would love to see the annual cost per student in public schools in each state versus the average SAT score in those states. (looks like a good job for GROK :) )
Observations:
Cost Per Student: The five highest ratio states spend more than double per student ($26,046.60) compared to the five lowest ratio states ($11,107.20), reflecting significant regional spending differences.
SAT Scores: The five lowest ratio states have a notably higher average SAT score (1,200) than the five highest ratio states (1,006), suggesting better test performance relative to spending in the low-ratio group.
Ratio: The average ratio for the highest group (25.97) is nearly three times that of the lowest group (9.26), underscoring the disparity in cost-efficiency (as measured by this metric) between these extremes.
These averages highlight the contrast between high-spending, lower-scoring states (often with high participation rates) and lower-spending, higher-scoring states (often with lower participation). Let me know if you’d like further analysis!
I actually thought I would find that the high-tax states would show a marginally higher average SAT score, but not enough more to justify having an average cost per student of double the low-tax states!
Hey Chuck, I don't think the kids will suffer. My real property taxes keep going up to fund schools, so I KNOW THERE IS PLENTY OF MONEY TO KEEP THE DOORS OPEN.
They make it sound like money will be completely cut… trump has said he will give the money directly to the states to use on children and determine what curriculum will be taught… only way kids lose out on the cash, is if state officials dont give it to them… we can hold state officials directly responsible through elections…. The federal bureaucrats we can not

I have some textbooks from the 1890s used by my Dad etc.
They even studied Latin, for goodness' sakes!
My Mom took Latin
My son is in Classical Christian kindergarten and is studying latin. 💪😉
Amazing Grace.

This ^^^ 💯
Great comment.
But the test scores all suck anyway….

And here is the eye-opener regarding school funding and success, based on SAT scores:

Indoctrination funding applied more heavily in the enemy camp...

We in the red states sure do have more to lose: communist sponsored indoctrination.
Bye bye.
