Does this mean those who protect or harbor these enemy combatants or are used to distribute drugs or humans for this gang can be charged with war crimes as well?
Under the Alien Enemies Act, the President has the authority to seize the property and assets of designated alien enemies, as well as to detain and deport them from the United States. However, the Act does not specifically authorize the President to prosecute individuals who assist or protect alien enemies.
There are a bunch of federal laws that prohibit harboring or aiding or helping illegal aliens avoid or evade law enforcement. That being said, if Trump/Alien Enemies Act deems them enemy combatants (might be a stretch) then treason (aiding or abetting the enemy) could be triggered. And yes, a citizen CAN BE determined to be prosecuted as an enemy combatant. Remember the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings when Lindsey Graham asked him this very question. Was there a reason for those specific questions? Maybe.
Interesting points - I am going to see if I can find a transcript of that exchange, at the time I remember thinking it related to a lot of Q drops. Seems like an eternity ago! Thanks fren.
The actual sedition act doesn't provide for it but other laws do. The federal law against conspiracy to commit a crime is one. The person committing the conspiracy to commit the crime will be charged at the same level and penalties of the crime they conspire to commit. That means they could be stripped of property and charged a felony for the conspiracy.
Im sure there are other ways to take down their supporters as they still may be committing crimes even if not directly involved with the criminal activity; Aiding and abetting. Supporting a designated terrorist org. Hiding or helping criminal illegals. Etc

Probably not. Here's an AI response:
Prosecution under the Alien Enemies Act

Damn! I know Holman would be chomping at the bit. Thanks for the great answer - AI is not YET something I think about accessing.
Don't give up yet my Fren,

US 1324 literally talks about harboring, aiding and abetting are federal crimes.
There are a whole lot of politicians and others that should have been charged with this decades ago.

And judge Boasberg should be the first charged with harboring these criminal, illegal aliens!
They are breaking other applicable laws. Don't need the alien enemies act for them.
I assume they could be trialed as traitors for supporting an illegal terrorist organization deemed an enemy to our country
