Also, Israel is a nuclear superpower run by genocidal government employees.
Gaza is an occupied territory in a country that was invaded decades ago and has been subjected to such a long protracted genocide that the average age has been reduced to teenagers.
Pretending they are equals fighting equally is ridiculous. A nuclear superpower intent does not fight on equal terms with the few remaining remnants of those it is trying to annihilate. If they were equals, there would either be nuclear war fallout or cold war standoff. They aren't equals. Palestine stands no chance whatsoever of ending the invasion or genocide.
Hamas is violent edgy kids being psychopaths because everyone they knew has been killed; inevitably the slaughter of whole populations will create dangerous groups like them even without the perpetrators needing a propaganda target to excuse further slaughter.
The politicians in Israel that created Hamas don't even have an excuse for doing evil things. They simply keep choosing invasion, occupation, genocide, and slaughter. All the while pretending its a war.
Whenever I wonder if Israeli or American leadership is pro war, I remember those poor souls aboard the USS Liberty who were thought to be worth less than open conflict with Egypt
Its not good optics for us or the white hats. We know that Israel controls blackmail schemes to keep US politicians in line. Trump is awfully cozy to Israel right now.
The war crimes against the civilians is not defensible. No way. Israel was conceived by force and threats of force. It shouldn't exist.
The biblical conception of Israel, the country, was through force as well.
The verdict was handed down by God himself against tribes who were thoroughly corrupted, sacrificed children, practiced perpetual war, and held no redemptive values in esteem, apparently both then and into the future.
Yet they had to take the land by force, themselves, and then Saul refused to kill Amalek. From much research, it has come to seem that his descendants went on to engage in perpetual war against those who had defeated their ancestors, from Haman in Babylon, to the Khazars later, to infiltration and silent running.
Point being, securing a state by force can be justifiable. That said, I’m also not saying that the current State is equivalent to the Biblical State, nor that the current actions are justified (or unjustifiable). If you don’t have a rock solid knowledge of the full breadth of the situation, withholding judgment, while keeping a discerning eye peeled, seems like the best path.
We will find out what’s been going on here, just some things to keep in mind. I certainly don’t claim to understand this whole situation yet.
Not everything is as it seems on the surface. We know less than 1% of what is happening behind the scenes making it very difficult for us to make any definitive declarations.
Under these circumstances it is better if we sit back and try to separate truth from fiction while avoiding applying certainties we have no possibility of accurately predicting.
What we do know is that Trump himself has threatened severe consequences if Hamas does not release the hostages immediately. We know that Israel has acted against Hamas for these reasons but have no way of knowing if it is at Trumps urging. We also know that Trump has unleashed hell on the Houthis and they have ineffectively countered precipitating even more action against them. We know that Trump has warned Iran and has called them out as responsible for the Houthis actions.
There are also geopolitical realities that we have no way of knowing.
Are Trump and Putin working together? Has Israel been defanged behind the scenes and under the influence of Trump? Is Iran merely a foil or is their intransigence real? Whats Xis role? Is he fighting against his own deep state and is in some way allied with Trump and Putin? What about Qatar and their obvious attempts to sow discord in US colleges and their ties to Hamas and thye Muslim Brotherhood? Whats MBS doing through all this. You know that Saudi has to have some role in these middle east happenings.
And then you have Ukraine and the stupidity of the EU led by Macron and Starmer.
So the on the ground situation is complex and fluid and for us to sit here and make definitive declarations is just ignorant.
Didn’t Hamas refuse to give up the hostages?
Israel has been denying aid to Gaza, violating the ceasefire first.

Correct.
Yes
And
On the same day of JFK files to be released?
You can’t make this up
Israel has continually violated it's ceasefire agreement long before this announcement
We have someone with EYES WIDE OPEN here 👍

Username checks out 🤣
I could absolutely see this response being meant in either direction on my comment 😁
Trump has good reasons for everything he does and says.
