I don't understand how people can think it is OK for us to pay thousands in tariffs to other countries and we should just lay down and take it. We've done that for far too long. I think his plan is beyond reasonable; I would have done 100% reciprocal - you charge us 30%, we charge you 30%. He's being too nice, IMO.

The people that think it's OK for other countries to take advantage of the US, just truly hate the US at their core.
They believe the US is evil so we deserve to be taken advantage of.
