How would I try to (successfully) attack a country like ours in our position?
I would try to trigger a landslide that would cause a tsunami that way I had some plausible deniability/Low risk to personnel/equipment.
Indirect attack is much safer.

IF this does mean 4chan's darkness then I'd make the educated guess that we are about to see Q make their return.
