This isn’t a state issue either, it’s a federal one because… a vast majority of the homeless people in California originated from other states.
So once Trump makes good on his promise to go after the cartels - he spoke nonstop about that issue during the lead up to the 2024 election - then he can tackle the nations homeless crises created under the Reagan/Bush regime. Reimplement state run mental institutions and round-up and institutionalize every single homeless person until they go through a stringent program to get most (not all) back on their feet and be productive members of society.
Being homeless isn’t a “right.” This nonsense of allowing people to just sleep on the sidewalks has got to stop.
Clean this fucking mess up. The “funny farms” worked amazingly well until George Bush via Ronald Reagan dismantled all the institutions coast to coast back in the 1980s.
That costs money, institutions have to be staffed, the physical plant has to have plumbing, heat, electric use. How about instead, what used to be called "poor farms"? Vermont had them in larger towns, for Vermonters. Housing was provided, industry was food farming, harvesting, preserving, there were mills, they were pretty much self sustaining, with some profit. If all these illegals are being employed by large farms, have folks work on them, provide some sort of housing, pay them. For the drug addled people, yes. get them off the streets and get them in treatment.Problem is, I see nothing about busting the low life dealers that are selling the meth and dope to these people nodding out on the curbs and streets.People walking around handing out sandwiches and syringes, but no arrests for the dealing going on? Why the hell not.
Just like when we give billions in humanitarian foreign aid to war-torn countries. By the time it filters down to the 'end users' and everyone has taken their cut, it is whittled down to barely water and wheat., if that.
The other issue is that many of the buildings are high density housing: fast tracked high rises put into single family neighborhoods against the wishes of the community members. San Diegans have been trying hard to fight against these and we are failing. The government just railroads over the constituents and does what it wants.
Yes, I meant they are building apartment buildings in the middle of what were SFR neighborhoods, drastically changing the character of the neighborhoods. Also, they are not requiring onsite parking for these buildings, either, and they've taken away parking in order to create bike lanes. Now neighborhoods are overloaded with cars. People have to walk several blocks from where they found parking to their homes, and with the homeless problem, it can be scary to walk at night, especially alone.
Seattle used to be a wonderful city to visit. Now a person wants to avoid it at any cost…. It’s an absolute shame what they’re doing to this country !!!
I'd round up all these grifters, seize all their assets and imprison them. They are the lowest form of humanity. If they are not getting caught & punished, it only emboldens them.
First of all, you should automatically assume that all people who are working in government are corrupt, until they can prove otherwise. The men that signed the Constitution, and established our Republic would be the first to tell you not to trust government, ever.
My question is what are WE doing about it? We elected another government, which is fine, but I have yest to see any real penalties for those who have perpetrated all of these heinous crimes against us.
How many of us are ready to sit on a Jury? How many of us understand the true power and nature of a juror? Are you ready to stand up to the tyranny from the jury box?
How many of you are ready to serve on a Grand Jury? How many of us understand the true power and nature of a Grand Jury?
How many of you have presented Quo Warranto's against the tyrants living in your towns, cities, counties, and States?
My point is that we can't only rely for others to save us, we have a role in saving ourselves, as well.
What other states does this, Anchorage Alaska has turned into a Seattle, Portland, Denver, San Francisco, Austin, Key West, Homer Alaska, it’s all Democrats ran cities with corruption at the top and citizens to busy busting ass to keep up with the high taxes, example is in my shit hole town Anchorage assembly decided to tax all products that come though the Port Of Anchorage. Without voting on a Super Tax by the people. The State government is 90% Democrats look the other way. Any Big Business looking for a state to work from, RUN from Alaska it’s the new California
C’mon guys. Cost a lot of money to run a cabal and the upkeep on Lairs these days…..forget about it.
They should have asked for … one million dollars.
You're spot on. We need a Star Wars Jedi Mind gif. "Nothing to See Here"

Currently, the lunatics are running the asylum.
That’s the truth. I mean when used correctly they work but when abused you get innocent people locked away and the crazies run loose

and a % of the work crew doing the development just might have not entered into the USA legally, either them or their parents, maybe a high percentage

It's always criminal with these people. Always.

They’re using apartments over here. Guessing they’re section 8, but I’ve seen areas visibly switch demographics in a matter of weeks.

It's not just their friends i bet, they are getting rich.
Exactly, these people know that Demoncrats are the ones getting filthy rich but probably they are afraid to tell the world.
Is anyone surprised, the surprise would be if something was done about it.

Imagine if dems put their minds to something useful besides scamming the tax payers?!!!!
