Isn't china's market in freefall right now? Like I'm not entirely sure how they "can" negotiate when they're at such a low position. It's like asking for a raise after your company hired 3 younger people for your exact role who make a third of what you do combined.
If what I've read is accurate, the Chinese workers are protesting in the streets lol. Lack of back pay. I bet they DO want a trade deal. They don't want to pay tariffs at the new current rate lol.
Trump should wait a couple of weeks ---- until this settles down.

Wasn't the argument that if imported goods were too expensive (due to tariffs), then that would make companies come back to the US or new businesses to start up manufacturing here?
