It’s plausible deniability. It says he’s not playing ignorant, ie he knew it meant get rid of 47, or trash Trump, but he didn’t know it meant, (and having only heard back of house in restaurant biz neither did I) get violent on 47. Not sure if your question was rhetorical but it’s the best statement he could make to defend, imo. Still obvs what it means

Busted. I was zooming in - and out - to see if any of the patterns in the sand had any noticeable meanings. To go even further, I looked to see if I could recognize any formations that looked like Arabic writing. The reason? John Brennan speaks fluent Arabic.
It looks clean to me on my laptop screen, but I may take another look on my 32" monitor tomorrow to be sure.
