Me too! Last time my wife and I were there was 2012, and we saw the problem up close and personal. All the old landmarks and attractions were there... Kew Garden, Parliament, Big Ben, the Churchill War Rooms, and such, but they were all surrounded by non-native dark-skinned people who did not speak the language, seemed slightly menacing, and honestly smelled like they last bathed when they swam across the English Channel.
London was the worst, and we felt safer traveling in the daytime than at night. Here at home (Tennessee) I can carry a weapon on me, but there I was unable to, and felt particularly vulnerable.
Anyway, we both determined that the last time we were there was indeed the LAST TIME we would ever go there.
Always wanted to visit until around 2013ish when the mass migration onslaught began. I've lost all interest in visiting pretty much any place in Europe. Now if I want to feel like I'm in europe I can just drive to Detroit or Dearborn
I'm glad I visited in the 80's,before it became a commie shithole.

“The last time they bathed was when they swam across the English Channel.” Hahaha
Sadly, the popular sights in Italy are very similar nowadays.
I spent a lot of time there in the early 2000s and it seemed pretty good to me. It went downhill fast.
I could see the writing on the wall in 2008
