Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Rules For the rest of the Site also accessible on the sidebar.

Say good-bye to Tourism in America: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISDESTjH11I
was there a post here recently about the covid vaccine & the pineal gland? I think there was a video, but might be wrong...
NVM...it was on GLP, not GAW🤡
you guys might like it

Shower Thought:
The Mandela Effect is a white hat op (“we are the gatekeepers of information”) to get people used to the fact that our history has been rewritten and to learn to better record and deal with conflicts and rewrites moving forward. This seems like it could be a very interesting post, but that’s all the deeper my thought on it goes.

Perhaps you need a deep scrub loofah?
It is a nice theory and certainly easier to contend with, but mandela effect is specifically because of shifting across universe lines from a single axis points. Since we are moving through time instead of moving on time, mandela effect is letting those slips from line to line occur. Consider it like a multilane highway, debris on occasion keeps you from staying in your lane, but as soon as you pass the debris you can shift back on to your lane. In most cases, humanity at large has chosen to continue shifting back to the same timeline. It is a subconscious desire to be led to a specific point. I believe Q Team is doing their best to fully force the collective to shift into the correct lane instead of the one they are progammed to follow. Mandela is simply recorded history of the other lanes. Obviously it is more complicated, each lane has the same cars, each lane has the same debris, but they occur at different points on the timeline which is why you can shift.
Also entirely possible. That’s definitely how it’s been sold. The thing I like better about this version I’m throwing out would put more impetus on us to discern and do something about it.
I asked Google A.I. if it's permissible to drive 35 miles per hour when the posted speed limit is 45 miles per hour.
Did you specify whether you were on an e-bike, in a car, or if you were driving cattle? Remember to always give context to get the right answer!
Generally 10 miles per hour below the speed limit is accepted. I'm in the habit of driving slow because I drive around in residential areas quite frequently looking for grass to cut. Many times I get out on the road and people make it known real quick how angry they are by me holding up their lives. I'm a firm believer that the right lane should be used by people who prefer to drive slower. Many people on the road however don't know that and they think everybody should be driving at the speed limit no matter which lane it is.
I stay in the right lane for that specific reason as well and drive the posted speed limit. If someone is going slower than I am in the right, then I will simply use the left lane to go ahead and pass them without any drama. My spouse, however, drives in the left lane at all times ... even when the sign says Left Lane For Passing ONLY ... he smirks when I say, "Oh, look at that cute little sign telling you which lane you are supposed to be in." : )
It's all good. Stay safe, and may the rain fall soft upon your fields with the sun warm on your windshield.
What makes you think I'm stopping in the right lane? Where did I say that? Why would I stop in the right lane if I don't need to?
Allen 73 has only been here for six days
I just don't understand it. I drive slow but I don't stop in the middle of the lane. That would make absolutely no sense.
I know that, he knows that, he’s just an asshole who’s trolling 👍🤪
Edit: also I live on Kauai part time. There are many locals that drive under the speed limit because they’re tired of tourists. The bummer is it’s just a 2 Lane highway around the entire island, so the traffic backs up for miles. At that point in time, I just go with the flow because I’m on island time. 🌴
So, because of Trump I have to work hard.
As a software entrepreneur developing enterprise software, we had hit complete dry spell for the past 4 years. In Trump's first term we always had at least a few prospects active at any point, but under Biden it was zero. If we ever got an inquiry, we could be sure they were simply looking for some sale partners as everyone seemed to be hitting the dry spell as well,
In the last few months, its like the taps have been turned on. I can literally feel the new life flowing through the veins of the tech sector and for the first time I have 3 serious prospects to work on and boy, its been keeping me busy.
So yeah, Trump is making me work hard and I am thankful for that!
great news for you & entrepreneurs in tech!
Honestly, this is probably the best time to be in tech, ever! Kids just graduating or even still in Uni are in for a treat.
I graduated just in time for the tech revolution of late 90s and have seen some crazy times. But I am expecting the coming years, even decades, will put 90s to shame.
And it wont be just the folks in tech who will reap the rewards. The energy revolution, AI revolution and blockchain revolution will change the whole society for the better - but that still a few years away to see the results. But the folks in the tech are the ones digging the tenches and pouring the concrete, so to speak, to usher in that future.
The internet revolution of the 90's and 00's, was an interesting time to be working in computers. I witnessed the race to get ready for Y2K, followed by the rockstar job offerings during the Dot Com Boom. When that all ended, I was content to sti
ll be working in the tech domain. The AI Boom that we are currently in, is neat to watch as it happens. I once heard the idea that the Computing Age is still (relatively) in it's infancy and is only just getting started.
nice! I am curious about how software entrepreneurs, engineers and coders will be working with AI, as software is not my field. As I read what you shared, AI won’t be taking over be taking over, but the human element will be needed, working with the advances with AI — which is what I hope for, where people continue with their creativity & human touch.
Sounds great!
Can you imagine living your life without a the Internet? Almost no one can. Just imagining a permanent blackout is scary for us.
But how long did it take from the time Internet was invented to use being unable to live without it? I would say around 20 years.
AI became accessible only a short time ago, and I am finding that I simply can't do my work without it.
I cannot imagine writing my code or even doing my research without it. When I start on a new project, the research which would take me days or even weeks now takes less than a couple hours on Grok. I always have two windows of Grok open - one for my research on this board and one for my work.
And when I actually write code, I use AI to do all the grunt work and create a prototype/framework for me, which I can then enhance. Thats my daily work flow.
What this means is that suddenly I can do projects in areas I am not familiar with because the time investment in learning up the new area is very affordable. This expands both my breadth and depth.
Also, when I have riskier ideas to try out, I can work out whether they are feasible or not very quickly.
Honestly, if the Cabal had their way, they would make AI illegal for us unless you use only what is created and trained by them, which would be highly restricted and monitored. Thats why the constant psyop about AI - esp after Trump made it clear what his vision is.
AI is much like a gun. Depending on how its being used, it can be great or deadly. But the more open source AI we have for everyone, the less it can be weaponised.
Hope this answers your question.
definitely answers my question, great you can use grok AI this way. The more Open source AI we have for everyone —> less it can be weaponized = goid to understand for our security. Thanks!
