RED TAPE: Hundreds of Residents of Pacific Palisades Choose to Sell Their Homes Rather Than Rebuild After Fires | The Gateway Pu...
Following the horrific and incredibly destructive fires in southern California earlier this year, hundreds of residents of the Pacific Palisades neighborhood are opting to sell their homes rather than rebuild.
All by design....
All along the California coast, land stolen, we've watched it happen. Some of the most prime real estate in the world. Along with that the freedom to go to the coast in a carefree way.
Crime. Every bit of it.
The ironic thing is, it may be difficult to sell that land, now that everyone is aware of the shenanigans going on in CA. Who would want to risk going through all of the red tape necessary to build, or the heartache of having their new home burnt down?
Blackrock will buy it.
The people that are going to buy the land are not worried about anything. They wanted the swine out. They got the swine out.
And most people still refuse to believe these disasters are land grabs!
How does this land grab idea work?
You have to buy the land.
Clear it.
Build a house.
And hope that the rest of the neighborhood is also rebuilt. Otherwise you're surrounded by rubble.
Otherwise you're not going to get to these super high prices there were before.
So when exactly does this pay off?
There's so many of these lots available precisely because people are not buying
Multinationals will buy it.
That entire area will be owned by a corporate entity. They will build it into a 15 minute city. Then open it up to rent to people at a low price. They will sit on it till the next area burns down and the corporate entity buys that area up, builds it up and rent it out at a low price. Keep doing that till you own a good portion, have the politicians in your pocket make property taxes in the places you dont own to high so people move out, that corporate entity ends up. Then raise the rent.
So 20 or 30 years later, profit?
If the people selling want to screw the City of LA and the people behind the land grab, they should sell to the Santa Monica Mountain Conservancy, which prohibits anyone from building on the property-ever.
That's what the City wants. People are a disease to them. The fewer around, the better. They will just raise taxes on everyone else to cover the difference.
Their plan worked to perfection. Tired of this BS.
That was the plan. Burn it down. Make it impossible to rebuild. Buy the land cheap.
Even the people that still live there will be affected, now they will have a huge apartment next door to them instead of a single family home.
How do you figure this?
If they change the zoning laws to push for more apartments, then your neighborhood gets taken over. I’m seeing this near my neighborhood. They buy lots remove the house and build a small multistory apartment. It sucks for the people living next door.
Pretty sure that's exactly what they had intended.
I'm sure they'll get top dollar ::rolleyes::
Exactly what the deepstate wanted
I wonder who is buying. Big mystery, eh? 😉
They didnt sell a home they sold a burnt piece of land.
That should read, "Sell Their Properties" - homes are gone!
They sold land with debris piles, not homes.
All according to Smart City plans
Wasn't this the plan all along?
It’s not just the local officials. The insurance companies point fingers at each other extending the process.
Multinationals will buy the land.
